City palace
City Palace Udaipur is a palace situated in Udaipur in Rajasthan, India. Built by Maharana Udai Singh, it is one of the main tourist attractions of the city.
Standing on the east bank of Lake Pichola is a massive series of palaces built at different times from 1559. The balconies of the palace provide panoramic views of "Jag Niwas" (the world wide famous Lake Palace), Jag Mandir on one side and on the other the city of Udaipur. Its main entrance is through the triple-arched gate - the Tripolia, built in 1725. The way now leads to a series of courtyards, overlapping parations, terraces, corridors and gardens - a harmonic profusion hard to describe. There is a Suraj Gokhda, where the maharanas of Mewar presented themselves in the times of trouble to the people to restore confidence. The Mor-chowk (Peacock courtyard), gets its name from the vivid mosaics in glass decorating its walls. The chini chitrashala is noteworthy while a series of wall paintings of Krishna are on display in Bhim Vilas. There are numerous other palaces such as Dilkhush mahal, Sheesh mahal, Moti mahal and Krishna vilas - in memory of a princess of striking beauty who poisoned herself to avert a bloody battle for her hand by rival princes. Now the palace contains many antique articles, paintings, decorative furniture and utensils and attracts thousands of visitors every day. The former guesthouse of the city palace, Shiv Niwas Palace, and the Fateh Prakash Palace have been converted into heritage hotels.
The palace was also a location to film the Disney Channel Original Movie, The Cheetah Girls: One World, which is the third movie of The Cheetah Girls.

this is the finished antenna after it was adjusted for the correct length and sealed with heat shrink. The preceeding pictures shows the process before the heat shrink was applied. I also put some Lexel clear caulk on the ends to seal out moisture.
This antenna is for a cb radio on a motorhome. The radio is a Cobra 148 NW ST, a very nice radio. It's mounted near the forward escape hatch.

Well, once again, it has been quite a while since my last post...been pretty busy with work and other things. This shot was actually taken last weekend on a shoot with Aaron Reed and Navdog, although we did bump into a few other photographers down there this morning. I think today or yesterday would have been the prime time to hit up this park, but we still had some pretty good conditions on this morning, before the sun became too harsh anyway. I look forward to catching up on Pacific Northwest season changes in all your streams!
My brother recently traveled to China, Tibet, and Nepal and returned with many pictures. I loved this picture of his showing what I think are chrysanthemums, and I reprocessed it to give it a different look from his.
Last week, I received the Nendoroid Doll Height Adjustment set and I decided to take some comparison photos. The blonde Alice has the normal/standard Nendoroid Doll body. The brunette Alice has the height adjustment arms and legs.
The new legs add about 1 cm in height to an existing Nendoroid Doll. This is very noticeable. IMO it creates a lot of fun options like having a taller boy/girlfriend or a big sister/brother for your Nendoroid Dolls.
The difference between the new arms and regular arms is barely noticeable. As you can see in the comparison photos, the length difference is very small. If I had to guess, I think that it’s 0.5 cm.
So are they worth buying? Well, that depends on what you want to use them for. I bought these because I want to add some height between a Nendoroid Doll of Loid and Yor Forger compared to a regular Nendoroid Anya. I think that it will be well suited for that, given the difference between a regular Nendoroid and the Nendoroid Doll with heigh adjustments.

For use with Enduro bags, either both preload adjusters must be trimmed so they can swing out, or the shocks can be switched side to side so the adjusters swing in, and the right adjuster trimmed to clear the vent. This photo shows the LH preloader installed on the RH side so it swings in, but it will hit the final drive vent. To avoid cutting it, a used, previously-cut adjuster was bought and painted. The shock must be unscrewed from the old adjuster to install the new adjuster.
Do not adjust your set...this shawl is indeed darker and bluer in some spots, and lighter and redder in others (although the reddish tint to the purple in the paler areas doesn't show up too well in these pics).
I used Wilton's Icing Color in violet to overdye this shawl from the original beige color. This is easily the most awesome result I've had from a food color dye job to date. You definitely need to experiment with breaking color at least once.
