Did some more detailing on the pelvis, recycling bits from the pokey-up piston things that are meant to go on top of the dreadknight, and some tiny side vents from a space marine backpack.

One nicely formed latex rubber Adeptus Mechanicus mould. Excellent!

I need some decently sized Adeptus Mechanicus symbols for a terrain project I'm working on. The problem? No one makes the damn things any more. So, the only solution is to make my own.

I'm building the base model out of balsa wood and other stuff I have lying around the place, then I'll take a mould off it and make as many as I need! Theoretically :)

All four Adeptus Mechanicus themed models on a desert table.

Cogwheel and Skull for the banner pole of my Knight Titan. Made from some watch gears and a skull cut from a Cities of Death floor panel.

Shame they're not all properly aligned, but the scale is small enough that it shouldn't be too obvious.

More proof of the connection between ancient Mesopotamia and the 41st Millennium. Here we see what is clearly a primitive version of the insignia of the Adeptus Mechanicus.

(Actually it's a stylised image of a walled city, but you didn't hear it from me)

The first casting from my Adeptus Mechanicus mould. Not too shabby! :D

I only need four of them, but I didn't mix the resin properly on the second casting. Derp.

The plan becomes clear! I'm widening the torso, both to fit the head/cabin, and to give the model more of a titan-like (titanic?) appearance.

Starting to come together. I still need to build armour for the lowers legs, decide how to detail the head and decide what the left arm weapon will be.

Legs and pelvis assembled.

The finished model will be able to be broken down for transport - the legs aren't attached to the base, they're held on with magnets. The torso will also attach with magnets, hence the washer at the top.

Modifications to the Dreadknight's force sword to make it suitable for my Knight Titan. Happily the Inquisition symbol is quite similar to the Adeptus Mechanicus Collegio Titanicus symbol, once you get rid of the bottom crossbar.

I'm widening the torso, both to fit the head/cabin, and to give the model more of a titan-like (titanic?) appearance. Here's back panel cut into three (I cut a bit too far south on the midline - whoops).

Twin linked lascanons, built from a set of bloodraven cannons and a spare sentinel powerplant.

The head/cabin is the upper turret from a Spess Muhreen Storm Raven. I haven't quite decided how I'm going to detail it yet, but this greenstuff is a start.

A work in progress mockup of the legs and pelvis. The kneepads are from Scibor Miniatures, and the pivot is from a defiler.
