So, our over-night voyage is over, we have arrived back in England.
In the dock next to us, things are in full swing, tugboats pushing a tanker into place.
A colourful greeting.
Hull, or Kingston upon Hull, is a port city in East Yorkshire, England.
Where the River Hull meets the Humber Estuary.
Hull lies at a naturally advantageous position for a port, on the north side of the Humber Estuary to the west of a bend southwards giving rise to (on average) deeper water; and the River Hull flows out into the Humber at the same point.
An important event in the history of Hull as a port was its acquisition by King Edward I.
In 1297, it then became the only port from which goods could be exported overseas from the county of Yorkshire.
Thus in the 13th and 14th centuries Hull was a major English port for the export of wool, much of it to Flanders, with wine being a major import.
As of 2010, the main port is operated by Associated British Ports and is estimated to handle one million passengers per year; it is the main softwood timber importation port for the UK.

This mature buck is putting down scent on a scrape. He's an aggressive buck and has the battle scars to prove it. Right ear is split and most of his left antler is broken off. It's that time of year.

Another view of Delhi Junction station or Old Delhi as it was known. it shows passengers carrying their luggage in the traditional style heading for platform 6. In the background is one of the amazing WPD-4 diesel locos number 40020.
She was built by the Banaras Locomotive works in Varanasi in 2003 and has 4000 hp.
Grand Prismatic Spring was one of my favorite locations in all of Yellowstone. So much activity in this area painting a beautiful landscape.

A lady films her friends on her smartphone at the Colour Activity House exhibit in front of the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, Japan. The image again fits with one of the main themes I explored in Japan. It shows the effortless and seamless way traditional aesthetics and values mix with contemporary ones.
Looks as if the remains of this fallen tree are gone (or just fell behind me), but I love the stump - they provide lots of food and shelter for sometimes microscopic creatures that are essential to return it to the earth.
