The change from Daylight Saving Time back to Standard Time has been a source of consternation for the cats as I try to shift their feeding times an hour later. It is expressed with counter stalking and dramatic licking of the scoop that I use to dole out portions of dry food--as if to say "I am on the brink of starvation".
I can not get them to understand the concept. :D

In questa seconda ondata della pandemia le palestre (e altri luoghi di aggregazione sociale) sono state nuovamente chiuse. Molta gente si ritrova nei parchi e giardini per continuare le loro attività.
In this second wave of the pandemic, gyms (and other places of social gathering) have been closed again. Many people gather in parks and gardens to continue their activities.
This is what it means when the ATIS recording says " Caution migratory bird activity" . Air Canada A320 on final with Canada Geese crossing.
The Anna's hummingbird is not having things her own way in the garden, too many birds disturbing her favorite perches, but fair play to her, she gives her best and is a handful for most of the little birds

This is a typical view of an area where huge volcanic eruptions happened not that long ago. You can see rugged terrain, geothermal vents, craters, and small lakes. This is one of my favorite places to go to that are not too far from Reykjavik. Granted, it is much harder to access it during the winter, it´s breathtaking all year around.

"Alps on Ice"
There has been very little time processing and uploading pictures the latest days due to very hectic activity.
Here's one I shot on March 7th. It was cloudy in most parts of Scandinavia, but managed to find an opening at this epic location stanind on crystal clear ice. The mountains in the background are "Siedde" raging 1km up into the sky, and the other top to the right is "Piggtinden" about the same height. About full moon lightning up the surroundings from the right.
This sequence will definitely be featuring in my new aurora video.

This photo was taken during the geomagnetic storming 17-18th March 2015. This was the strongest geomagnetic storm of this solar cycle reaching G4 levels (Kp8).
1953. 3/7 "Favorite Activity"
By far, hands down, Dunkel's favorite activity: Playing in water, whether that is frozen or in the river. Yup - he's all Labrador! (Of course, I'm not counting eating as an activity!)
It seems to me that these are three brothers, their faces are very similar. And the youngest brother, apparently, is used as an engine😀.
