On Apr. 9, 2025, Fort George G. Meade Directorate of Emergency Services (DES) conducted an active shooter training. This training for Military Police Offices and Law Enforcement Agents demonstrated multiple scenarios that may occur in an active shooting scenario. DES conducts these trainings once per quarter to be ready against any threat.
