Activated charcoal works because it chemically binds other substances to its surface and can absorb thousands of times its own weight. It also has an incredibly large surface area due to all of its pores – one cubic inch of charcoal has the surface area equivalent to a 150,000 square-foot field. This is why just a bit of charcoal can absorb so many toxins, atoms, and ions.
The activated charcoal we use comes only from high quality wood carbon. Unscented, Tasteless and has the ability to absorve huge amounts of poison, chemicals and toxins from your skin. Isn't that great?!
With the combination of the finest unrefined oils and butters you have a soap that is cleansing, moisturizing and it will leave your skin soft and smooth!

Ingredients: Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Palm Kernel Oil, Avocado Oil, Almond Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Castor Oil, Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Activated Charcoal, Water, NaOH (Lye)
Always keep in mind that our soaps are handmade and handcut. That means that they might differ a bit in shape and colour from the ones in the pictures. Handmade products are always unique! :)

In 2010, the UN System in Uruguay launched a national public awareness campaign, Activate Uruguay-el Cambio esta en Vos (Take Action Uruguay – the change is within you) under the framework of the UNiTE to End Violence against Women campaign.
