On the way back from Zebra Slot Canyon. Only shot taken that morning. Got thwarted at Zebra from way too much standing water.
People were in short supply as the storm began to be felt in the city. This bloke was the only one in sight when I got to Upper James Street..

I saw the subject from the rear to begin with and thought she was another person huddling on the street. When I came back the other way, I saw that she was attached to the police service in some way. Note her shiny toe-caps. On the other side of King Street were two police officers who were her "minders". She was suspicious of my purpose and challenged me as I took the shot. I just kept walking, and I imagine she kept on doing whatever it was she was engaged in. Shot with the Olympus OM1 using Acros100 pushed to 400. Developed in HC110
Oggi ho scattato qualche fotogramma con la nuova pellicola della Fuji che dovrebbe sostituire la Acros100. Per il momento mi ha fatto una buona impressione, ha il difetto che costa troppo.

The outline on the truck's radiator is Bigfoot. The interest in Bigfoot is very strong around Little Egypt, which is what my area is called. You can see images like this, on signs, fences and vehicles all over the place.
The camera had stopped working, but I put some new batteries in it and it started working again. And then the winding lever jammed up. I rapped it on the counter a few light blows and that freed it up.
