A day out down the Rhine from Konstanz to see the Rhine falls. At Rheinfall, the Rhine River falls 23 m over the full 150-m width of the river Europe’s largest and most powerful waterfalls. I can cofidently report they are very wet. The close up shot was at risk of thens and camera getting drenched with spray, as I was hence the slightly OOF frame, should have shot higher than 1/250th though.
Best I could manage without potentially killing a Leica body and Zeiss lens, a good case for one of those disposables. The people descending on the far RHS gives some scale.

The lower city wards in one of which this photograph was shot suffer from an overall poverty rate of nearly 25% with over 32% of children living in poverty.

I think there is probably a story here, given that the trike rider is also carrying a wheelchair. The rig was catching the attention of some blokes outside the social club.

Given the position of the street performer's owner, I had considered titling the shot "Street Bum". I caught this act on Bay Street and the little dog was a favourite with the crowd.

The ranks of the homeless seem to increase by the day, even as the city enjoys a "renaissance".
