Conclusive proof that wood pigeons are smarter than they look.

 

They mostly scratch around below the garden feeder, hoping to find sunflower hearts dropped by the small birds. And they do pretty well I think. But this one has found a better way!

 

Have you ever seen a wood pigeon hanging on by its toenails?

I think it means they are happy to be home!

These little guys are surprisingly quick.

Performing acrobatics suspended from a helicopter in Sarasota Florida.

Two out of many peach faced lovebirds that come to my backyard to feed and show off. The flock of these beautiful birds lives in the date palm nearby and some days we get over a dozen in our backyard. Quite a rowdy and loud bunch.

Acrobatics perform by Bonfire Circus (Singapore) at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre during Flipside.

...this little crew was more action-packed than "House of Flying Daggers." No disrespect to Zhang Yimou, wushu king.
