Cattana Wetlands - This was an image ready to be deleted and something stopped me. For some reason this spoke to me. It reminded me of an Australian Artist from years ago, whose name of course escapes me. All I needed was a dragonfly.

Abstract remnants of once pretty big forest, bordering Jastrebarsko, Croatia.

The forest was destroyed by a week of heavy rain and severe storm, followed by heavy snowfall a month later, and finished by ice rain, in late 2013.

Most of the levelled trees are already cleared, now.

Taken with Panasonic GF2 camera and Panasonic G 20mm F1.7 lens, wide open.
