This tree is part of an ancient Yew tree forest that is quite rare in the UK apparently. Something to do with making Longbows and wine barrels in the 15th Century.
Having a play around with some bubble mixture to create a soap film. Took a few attempts with different setups. Got there in the end tho.
Mixture made from Fairy liquid, dishwasher rinse aid, water and this particular one had glycerine added. The glycerine caused the liquid to separate and this created the black parts you can see.

There was lots to see in the EMP (Experience Music Project) Museum in Seattle, WA. My camera was loving all the abstract elements that surrounded the exhibits.
I want to thank all my Flickr friends for sending me Flickr mails and tweets asking how I made out with Hurricane Matthew. Thankfully I had no damage other than lots of foliage debris. And I never lost power. Unfortunately, so many others in Jacksonville and other FL communities were not as lucky. The clean up and recovery will be long but I know everything will be OK.

Thanks for looking. I appreciate feedback!
I have a fondness for abstract art, and ever since capturing an accidental abstract earlier this year, I've been trying to recreate something like it! I was quite happy with this one! I guess you can expect a series of them over the coming months! :)
Large on black! :)
