From heightened reality to abstraction

For some reason I didn't include this one in the batch I sent to David, which was a few months ago. With hindsight I like it a lot more now, I need to work out a way to incorporate it into a spaceship design.

This was one of my first experiments with the MP-E 65mm 1-5x lens when I really had no idea how fine and sharp the focus detail was or what the proper rail setting should be for this kind of shot.

Still, I think its a neat shot of the strobe reflections on an upside down laser disc.
