I was able to get photos of the interior of playland in Coney Island. It closed in 1982 and has been left to rot. They are doing construction in the area right now and they will probably tear this down any day now.

I had to take the pill in this capsule to stop my thyroid from over working. I am under quarantine for 4 days. I am 6 hours into it and I am so bored! I miss my family!
It is able to hang upside down, twist its body, and peer into holes and under bark looking for reptiles and invertebrates such as insects and scorpions. It can even walk down a tree branch at a nearly vertical angle. It can do this because it has a 'double jointed' ankle which allows it to flex backward and even a bit sideways. It also has a behavioural adaptation, in that it can use its tail and wings, as well as its legs to brace itself in position as it seeks its prey.
I was able to watch the first three innings of game 4 of the National League Championship Series.
The Giants led 2-0 by the end of the third inning. They eventually won 6 tp 5.

I haven't been able to paint much recently. I'm training as a massage therapist, so not only has my time become incredibly limited, working full time and trying to learn anatomy and physiology in my spare time, but also my painting studio (back bedroom) has become the massage treatment room.
However I am trying to do a quick sketch a day to keep my hand in. I have an online photo journal which they go up on (whether good or bad... quite often disasterous!). But I feel as if Flickr has become a bit neglected lately, so here's a couple of the 'better; sketches to keep it ticking over, until I get time for a more sustained painting (they are brewing nicely in my head!)

In a Romanian language class for Ukrainian refugees, the question arose: "What is Moldova like and what are its people like?" Their enthusiastic responses spoke volumes about their experience and integration into Moldovan society.
Meet Zinaida Nerubașcenco, a resilient 70-year-old, recalls her escape from the war-torn Donbass region, arriving in Moldova with only a small suitcase. Moldova embraced her with open arms, offering assistance and empathy at every turn. Moldovans' welcoming nature made her feel at home, and the Romanian language classes played a vital role in overcoming fear and anxiety.
For Sofia Prisăcari, settling in Bălți with her Moldovan husband and daughter meant embracing the language and culture of her new home. Learning Romanian became a priority for her, as she envisions a future within Moldova's borders. She sees her daughter growing up bilingual, bridging her parents' native languages and the language of the country they live in.
These language classes, organized by the European Union and UNDP under the "Mayors for Economic Growth" initiative, have empowered refugees to integrate further into Moldovan society. By offering practical knowledge and fostering connections, the program equips participants with the tools they need for their daily lives.

As most rural families in Nepal keep goats, CRS is helping farmers improve their income by helping them have healthier, larger goats with reduced mortality, able to be sold at a higher price.
CRS provided a $100 grant for an improved goat shelter for 3,500 families. CRS only required two adaptations for families to receive the grant: the shelter must be 2.5 feet off the ground to allow for proper cleaning and airflow, and also include ventilation in the structure. Both measures are to combat illness from intense exposure to ammonia from goat waste: traditional structures were built on or near the ground and were fully enclosed, leading to toxic ammonia levels and high rates of sinus problems, coughs, and mortality, especially among young goats. With these improved structures, farmers are seeing healthier goats, better survival rates, and higher weight when they sell a goat.
Yadunatha Bhatta and his wife Keshika Bhatta received support from CRS and partners to ensure their home was constructed with earthquake-resilient techniques and they had opportunities to improve their income. Yadunatha truly loves goats, so much that his neighbors said that if food is scarce, he sometimes makes sure the goats eat first. At the time the earthquake hit, he owned just one small goat in another town, and he returned home to find his house destroyed. Yadunatha was thrilled to learn that he could help his goats stay healthier and grow larger in a better-ventilated shed. He has sold 10 goats in the past few years and currently owns 7. He has extensive plans to have a large goat farm, large enough that he no longer has to work as a day laborer.
Because both Yadunatha and Keshika have intellectual disabilities and need additional support, they are listed in local government offices as a vulnerable household and will continue to receive support in the future.

In April and May 2015, two massive earthquakes struck Nepal. Over eight million of Nepal’s 28 million people were affected with nearly 2.6 million in urgent need of emergency shelter, water, food, medicines and reconstruction support. The Government of Nepal (GoN) declared a state of emergency and reported 8,891 deaths, 605,254 houses destroyed and 288,244 homes damaged. CRS is supporting the Nepal government’s recovery and rehabilitation efforts.
A 3-year multi-donor $11 M Gorkha Recovery and Resilience Project (GRRP) provides technical support for more than 20,000 households in reconstruction of earthquake resilient houses, livelihoods recovery and WASH. The majority of funding comes from CRS private funds, with additional support from LDSC and Caritas Canada (Development and Peace), Caritas Spain and Caritas Austria.

The Nobunaga Matsuri went by my school this afternoon, commemorating the death of Oda Nobunaga in 1582. People dress up in costume to march from Honnoji Temple, playing music as they go.
Was able to get some sauce set up last week. I hope to get more than 4 quarts this fall, but it's been a terrible year for tomatoes in my garden.
I was able to get just one quick shot of this pretty winged thing. I hadn't seen it before and I haven't seen it since. I checked all the moth ID databases but couldn't identify it. Then, Diana (Naturegrl64) came to the rescue. She thinks it is a clouded skipper.
On 9 July 2012, West Oxfordshire residents will be able to welcome the Olympic flame in Woodstock and Blenheim and share in the excitement of the Relay and celebrate the achievements of the Torchbearers.
Woodstock and Blenheim are two of over 1,000 villages, towns and cities announced by the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) through which the Olympic Flame will be carried by Torchbearers during the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay.
Sebastian Coe, Chair of LOCOG said: ‘We are thrilled to confirm that Woodstock and Blenheim will act as host locations for the Olympic Flame, extending an invitation to people in West Oxfordshire to welcome the Olympic Torch Relay during its journey around the UK. This is the UK’s moment to shine and I want to encourage people across West Oxfordshire to start planning how they can be part of this once in a lifetime opportunity and show their support for the inspirational Torchbearers chosen to carry the Olympic Flame as we count down to the start of the Olympic Games.
The 70 day Olympic Torch Relay, will start at Land’s End, Cornwall on the morning of 19 May 2012. On leaving Land’s End, the Olympic Flame will travel an estimated 8,000 miles around the UK giving thousands of communities and individuals their moment to shine as the Olympic Flame comes to a place near them.

On the final day of the Olympic Torch Relay, it is LOCOG’s intention that the Olympic Flame will travel down the River Thames as it makes its way to the Olympic Stadium on 27 July 2012 for the lighting of the cauldron at the Opening Ceremony, signifying the official start of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The Olympic Flame will be carried across the UK by 8,000 inspirational Torchbearers each of whom will have a story of personal achievement and/or contribution to the local community. In December this year, successful nominees will be contacted with a conditional offer and final Torchbearer places will start to be confirmed from February 2012 onwards.

I did some work on this place many years when I was working. So it was great for me to be able to revisit this beautiful house once again. The last time, the house was being refurbished to get it ready to receive visitors. It is now looked after by the National Trust as it was then when I did the work. Arriving at the timed entry, yes it's better to make a time and date for your visit here because they have so many people turn up some days. We had our membership cards checked and we joined the others who were taking the trip around this house that sits in thousands of acres of landscaped fields and gardens near Wimborne, Dorset. The car park was big enough to hold the already many cars that had turned up to visit on this very hot sunny day in June 2018.
The house was for many years the family seat of the Bankes family who lived nearby at Corfe Castle until its destruction in the English Civil War after its then owners, Sir John Bankes and Dame Mary, had remained loyal to Charles I. The house was built between 1663 and 1665 by Ralph Bankes, son of Sir John Bankes, to a design by the architect Sir Roger Pratt. It is a rectangular building with two main stories, attics and basement, modelled on Chevening in Kent. The gardens and parkland were laid down at the same time, including some of the specimen trees that remain and are so magnificent today. Various additions and alterations were made to the house over the years and the estate remained in the ownership of the Bankes family from the 17th to the late 20th century.
The house was designated as a Grade I listed building in 1958 and the park and gardens are included in the National Register of Historic Parks and Gardens at Grade II. The house was bequeathed to the National Trust on the death in 1982 of Henry John Ralph Bankes, along with Corfe Castle. The house and gardens are now open to the public. The Kingston Lacy estate originally formed part of a royal estate within the manor of Wimborne. The original house stood to the north of the current house.
It was built in the medieval period and was used as a hunting lodge in connection with the deer park to its northwest. Leased to those who found favour with the monarch, lessees included the de Lacys, Earls of Lincoln, who held it in addition to estates at Shapwick and Blandford Forum. In the 15th century the property was leased to John Beaufort, Duke of Somerset, whose daughter Lady Margaret Beaufort, mother of King Henry VII, was brought up at Kingston Lacy. Some of the rooms are ok but the library is something else. It feels right. Some of the other rooms are just too ordinary for me. But are still worth seeing. The views from the house are beautiful.
Having visited Exbury a few weeks ago I thought these grounds were so much bigger and better laid out. However, Exbury did have the train ride and a large lake but you could not view inside the home. Was it worth going to Kingston Lacy House, for sure yes and anyone should try a get there to see this house in all its splendour that the National Trust has spent time making sure this house is pretty much as it was it the days gone. There is a cafe that serves hot food and drinks and is very reasonable in price. Dogs are allowed in many places on leads, signpost are laid where you cannot take dogs on some of the walking areas.
To be able to study is such splendid opulence must have given members of the Imperial Officials and Household great pleasure. Western society is often openly critical of Arab and Muslim Culture, citing cruelty and suppression of women's rights but we conveniently forget some of the wonderful scientific and mathematical achievements of the Arabs. It is only recently we in Ireland converted to the metric system, leaving the incredibly archaic imperial systems of pounds, stones and hundredweights behind. We can thank the Arabs for the metric system and wonder why did it take us 1300 years to catch up.
Yukon Transportation Museum
In the 1950s, LeTourneau Inc. developed several overland trains, essentially oversized semi-trailer trucks that could travel over almost any terrain. Their intention was to be able to handle logistics needs without being dependent on local road or rail systems, allowing them to operate in back-country areas. Following a demonstration of the VC-12 Tournatrain, the US Army had three experimental units built with an eye to the requirements of building the remote DEW line, starting with the TC-264 Sno-Buggy.
Impressed with the results of the Sno-Buggy, in late 1954 the Army Transportation Corps asked LeTourneau to combine the features of the Tournatrain and Sno-Buggy into a new vehicle. LeTourneau called the result the YS-1 Army Sno-Train but the Army knew it as the Logistics Cargo Carrier, or LCC-1. The LCC-1 combined the wheels of the Sno-Buggy with the power system of the Tournatrain to produce a 16x16 vehicle with one locomotive and three cars capable of handling a load of 45 tons in total. The control cab was itself articulated into two compartments; a heated driving compartment in front for the crew of three, and a rear section containing the 600-hp diesel engine, generators and fuel tanks. The cab also sported a powered crane on the rear.
In spite of starting the project before the VC-22, the LCC-1 required much more customization, and was not completed until January 1956. After testing at the factory, it was handed over to the Army in March, and continued testing in snow at the TRADCOM proving grounds in Houghton, Michigan. After acceptance, it was sent to Greenland, and then traveled around the north for some time, making its last cargo run in 1962.
The LCC-1 eventually ended up abandoned in a salvage yard right behind Fort Wainwright, Fairbanks, Alaska. Today, the LCC-1 now has a permanent site at the Yukon Transportation Museum in Whitehorse, Yukon.

This winter we are finally able to begin work on the inside of the house! The batts of insulation have been hauled in, and tucked out of the way as much as possible while the plumbing gets put in place. It's always a bit of a dance, no matter where you pile something, it will be where you need to work next. Almost ready to start running the Electrical stuff . Nothing to plug it into of course, until the solar panels go in sometime this year. Then the rest of the framing, drywall, insulation, ceiling...probably not in that order but it all needs to be done. Will be an interesting few months for sure.

So a couple of weeks ago I was able to obtain a semi grail of mine.. or at least when it comes to MP Transformers. Its not that this is particularly hard to find... it's just that I wasn't willing to pa market prices.
As luck would have it, I FINALLY came across a MP-18B Bluestreak.
As I said, there's nothing particularly rare about this other than the fact it is the Diaclone colour scheme for the Fairlady Z Transformer that would eventually become Silverstreak. Originally named Bluestreak, these early Season One Autobots were this hybrid blue/silver colour until they ran out of old stock, and going forward they were all pure silver.
Now, this version is certainly prettier than boring old Silverstreak, but Silverstreak enjoys the important role of being my first ever figure. I don't remember exactly who, but I can tell you this was the first Transformer figure that I ever owned, which of course kickstarted decades old obsession with these things.
History lesson aside, the actual toy, like all the licensed MP figures, has a very accurate looking alt mode. The 80's toy actually wasn't bad in this regard. Growing up, I'd see many of these cars, which speaks to the popularity of the vehicle.
The resulting robot mode certainly takes some visual cues from the original toy. At this time, designers were still going for the toy aesthetic, which to be fair is probably a head scullpt away from being toon accurate.
Articulation is pretty good, offering slightly above what the typical Deluxe can do. The general bulk of course gets in the way of posing, but that's a fact of life. But the engineering behind the figure is solid, including how they got proper shoulders and the giant pontoon feet to function correctly. From what is given, some improved head articulation would have been nice, especially since Bluestreak has those giant shoulder cannons in the way most of the time.

Maka jauh jauh sebelum menikah, dari sana sudah ada sistem penciptaan, bagaimana generasi/anak yang kita inginkan, dari proses ini kita akan tahu bagaimana sebenarnya mengatasi berbagai macam problema dari dalam diri kita sendiri atau orang lain,dan bagaimana cara mencapai segala keinginan mulai dari dalam diri, kemudian membantu orang lain
Setelah lahir pun kita dapat mengarahkan menciptakan; bagaimana abilitasnya, IQ-nya, sifatnya,masa depannya,dll, sehingga anak kita menjadi generasi yang highly qualified.

1.metode secara dlahir/syariat/nyata (melalui bantuan kami)
2.metode batin/ghaib (melalui bantuan kami)

These photos were taken in England......everyone was VERY taken with your design and wanted to know where they could get one. The first one is of my parents on their 40th wedding anniversary......it was the first time we had lit up the bowl as we'd had it shipped across the Atlantic soon after we bought it. The other 2 were taken in the snow (obviously!!) during the 3 hours the UK gets any snow each year!!
I'm also going to email you some of the bowl in-situ now.....in Mobile, Alabama. Again, it looks great and we always have lots of wonderful comments and pass your details onto people.

I have not been able to utilize my underwater housing for about a year, so.. I figured I'd jump in the pool with my pup (Harley) and see what we could accomplish. These are a few images I was happy with. Took quite a few attempts, Harley had a real good nights sleeps that is for certain.
