Aaron plays Chief Tyrol on Battlestar Galactica. We ran into him at the Sci-Fi Channel booth, where they happened to be giving away BSG t-shirts for people who signed up for a BSG credit card. He really wanted a BSG credit card and he joked "They had better not turn down my application!"

As we were leaving, someone came up and asked him to sign a Battlestar cast photo (it already had a lot of signatures on it). He looked at it and said, "I'm not in this photo." I didn't hear the person's reponse, but I think he signed it anyway.

I saw him at Indian Beach at the Ecola State Park. He was getting his wet suit off and his tattoos popped up at me.

I said hello and asked whether it was OK to make a few pictures for my project.

Aaron was 19 y/o when he had his first tattoo done. He is now 33 .

"Did it hurt," I asked.

"Yes, on the ribs," he replied.
