This was a tough assignment. When I was a child our Uncle lived with us and he would give me and my siblings a dime every day. I would save it up and at the end of the week we could bring money to school with a passbook and they would deposit our money into a bank account. They would enter the amount in the passbook. Perhaps this is why I am pretty good at saving!

A cielo abierto nos deja
la crisis un mal regalo,
ahora que ya tenemos
la Navidad aquí al lado.
Lo malo no es ver el cielo
que es ese humano lugar
refugio de quien confía
algún día alcanzar.
Lo malo es ver debajo
casi todo esquilmado,
donde sólo el agua encuentra
un lugar como reposo,
más no se puede tomar.
¡Qué malo es tener sed,
tener el agua en un cuenco
y no poderla beber!
Y así, entre crisis y esperanza,
miramos cómo en el cielo
brilla una luz sencilla
que nos anuncia gozosa
el nacer de un nuevo día,
y pone color en el suelo
al calor de una mirada.
Muchos caminos se abren,
todos tuvieron su vida,
y hoy a cielo abierto esperan,
entre tanto laberinto,
una confiada salida.

A deep feeling of being at the right place, living the time of my life with the right person.
I feel like in a cocoon. Like nothing bad can happen, even if I know life decides on its own... I feel confident. I want to trust life now, I want to walk my eyes closed because I'm not scared anymore, and at the same time I want to keep them wide open because I don't want to miss a single second of the beauty around me, through my magic glasses of happiness.

The California scrub jay (Aphelocoma californica), is a species of scrub jay native to western North America. It ranges from southern British Columbia throughout California west of the Sierra Nevada. The California scrub jay was once lumped with the island scrub jay, and Woodhouse's scrub jay, collectively called the western scrub jay. The group was also lumped with the Florida scrub jay; the taxon was then called, simply, the scrub jay. The California scrub jay is nonmigratory and can be found in urban areas, where it can become tame and will come to bird feeders. While many refer to scrub jays as "blue jays", the blue jay is a different species of bird entirely. In recent years, the California scrub jay has expanded its range north into the Tsawwassen region of British Columbia.

- www.kevin-palmer.com - While this day of stormchasing was somewhat frustrating, it ended with a beautiful view of a thunderhead at sunset over the Sandhills. It's so empty out here that it's easier to find a wind mill than another person.
Looking.
Obrigada! :)
Well, I'm looking for the luck too! There is the offer of 20 tickets to Rio de Janeiro. Although not quite believe that this luck falls into my hands, I give it a try.

(I Never Promised You A) Rose Garden - Lynn Anderson
I beg your pardon I never promised you a rose garden
Along with the sunshine there's gotta be a little rain sometime
When you take you gotta give so live and let live and let go oh oh oh oh
I beg your pardon I never promised you a rose garden
I could promise you things like big diamond rings
But you don't find roses growing on stalks of clover
So you better think it over
Well, if sweet talking you could make it come true
I would give you the world right now on a silver platter
But what would it matter
So smile for a while and let's be jolly love shouldn't be so melancholy
Come along and share the good times while we can
I beg your pardon I never promised you a rose garden
Along with the sunshine there's gotta be a little rain sometime
I beg your pardon I never promised you a rose garden
I could sing you a tune and promise you the moon
But if that's what it takes to hold you I'd just as soon let you go
But there's one thing I want you to know
You'd better look before you leap still waters run deep
And there won't always be someone there to pull you out
And you know what I'm talking about
So smile for a while and let's be jolly love shouldn't be so melancholy
Come along and share the good times while we can
I beg your pardon I never promised you a rose garden
Along with the sunshine there's gotta be a little rain sometime.....

Not quite a full mono conversion this one.
After trying a full conversion i thought it looked a little flat and so i decided to leave just a hint of colour in.
This is a close up of the same Yellow Warbler who had Sunshine on his Shoulder ;D
