This custom Munny is called Zeppelin Over Berlin and was made for my girlfriend Lorraine. The subject matter is something close to her heart and the colors...cobalt blues, browns, off white and sepia tones reflect her style and personality and also conveys a rather nostalgic feel. The skyline is of Berlin in the 1930’s and is my first Munny that depicts a scene rather than a physical being.
Last week world’s greatest zeppelin (some call it a blimp) flew over the city of Pijnacker and her surroundings. The zeppelin followed the N 470 an important road between Zoetermeer and Rotterdam. A great number of inhabitants of the area was invited to come along, 12 at a time. Photos were taken during the start at Rotterdam Airport.

The First Album of the new genre of Heavy Metal!
I remember still the day I heard Zeppelin for the first time on the radio.
It was kind of shocking experience.
There was energy, power and strong emotion.
Yardbirds, The Who, Hendix, Cream - were already on the scene,
but still Zeppelin had something new. The music is rhythm
and blues -based rock with new electronics sounds.
Robert Plants vocals were something never heard before
and Jimmy Pages guitar solos were unbelievable.
What happened in the summer 1969 when I bought this LP?
Apollo XI and the first man on the moon July 20th.!
