Went to Linton Zoo on Saturday, what looked to be a very warm nice day turned out to be quite cold day which along side a low battery is why i didn't as many shots as i wanted. One that i did get a like was of the Hartmann's mountain zebra .....
I left Tanzania with a ridiculous number of zebra photos, but I try to remind people that each is a unique and special flower. I find them quite beautiful.

At the Lincoln Park Zoo I had my 50mm 1.8 and my 70-300mm 4-5.6 lenses. This was taken with the 70-300. Even without a tripod it takes decent pictures (although I'll admit I missed having the tripod for some of the shots).

Apparently, when in a herd, Zebras stick together (the black and white stripes of zebras create a mesmerizing, optical illusion) to escape from predators such as Lions, Tigers
This makes me laugh every time I look at it.
