A lady walks at the courtyard of Syeikh Zayed Mosque, Abu Dhabi. It is the biggest most in UAE inititiated by the late Syeikh Zayed bin Sultan al-Nahyan. His final resting place is also located in this mesmerising mosque.

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
This is one of the modern architectural marvels of the world. Everything about this mosque is simply grand. The colonnades, chandeliers, Persian rug, domes...everywhere you look, it is simply grand. The mosque has very strong Mogul, Persian and Moorish architectural influences. I was visiting just before sunset. Oh, what a joy it was to be there at this time. One thing great about the Arabian desert is that the sunset is the same everyday with the same cloudless sky with pink hues. I will be posting a few pictures of this mosque.
