Yōkai, or Japanese demon, from a scroll. The name of this yōkai, Isogashi is very close to the Japanese adjective for busy, (isogashii - note the double "ii") and this yōkai looks rather busy...

The jikininki is a type of yōkai in Japanese folklore. They are the spirits of greedy, selfish and impious people, who rise after death to devour human corpses.

the resources I used to make the mask, club and horns

mask - www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDyIduYSUOk

mask- www.youtube.com/watch?v=zo-bk-w2KSs

you have to watch the mask in slow, he works very fast, but if you have a basic understanding of blender you can follow along using slow replay and pausing.

club - www.youtube.com/watch?v=elUJCEC06r8

I used the skill from making the hammer to make the club after.

My demon skin was inspired by nightcrawler from the comics.

I have been making skins for years, I have built my own PSD tool over the years, I only make male RP skins.

making faces on mesh - www.youtube.com/watch?v=3hXq_6rwNNc

I still fail on this at times, but keep trying!!

horns - www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nzz9rkrtjjc

used the technique but did my own thing on smoothing.

I use Blender and Bento Buddy to make my models.

I learned all my SL creation skills from scripting to mesh from youtube and wiki, and you can too!!

Stay positive and keep trying if you are learning to create in Secondlife; I am 15 years at it and still learning.

"Censorship

"Censorship by the shogunate began with the ban of imported Christian books at the beginning of the Edo period. Censors at first paid attention to volumes whose content was of a political nature. but in 1722 more stringent laws concerning publication were promulgated The guild of publishers was now required to enforce regulations allowing the bakufu to control all publications.

"Censorship became even more severe during the time of the "Kansei reforms" (1787- 93). Fiction satirizing the efforts of the reformers were banned. The printing of three novelettes (kibyoshi) by Santo Kyoden, published by Tsutaya Juzaburo was halted; Hayashi Shihei (1738-93). the author of a volume arguing for the necessity of coastal defenses, was also punished. Thereafter. in 1804. the Osaka publication Ehon Taikoki ("A picture book of the life of Toyotomi Hideyoshi") and related ukiyo-e prints were banned. In this incident even the great artist Kitagawa Utamaro (1753-1806) was punished.

"Even more stringent censorship was ordered during the era of the "Tenpo Reforms" of the 1840s. The guild of book publishers was dissolved, requiring all publications to undergo direct, censorship by the bakufu. Illustrations and fiction were subject to much suppression and authors such as Tamenega Shunsui (1790-1843) and Ryutei Tanehiko (1783-1842) were both punished."

This plaque transcription doesn't necessarily have anything to do with this picture, which actually seems to be about a yokai (mythological monster) that animates pots and pans.

Professor Robert Callaghan (also known as Yokai) is the main antagonist of Disney's 2014 animated feature film, Big Hero 6. He was the head of the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology and mentor of Tadashi Hamada. However, after a tragic incident, he became the villainous Yokai, determined to extract revenge on those who wronged him.

Professor Callaghan was an aspiring man; a world-renowned scientist, praised for his innovations on the foundations of robotics, as well as the creation of Callaghan's Laws of Robotics. With such recognition and knowledge, Callaghan put himself to good use by teaching as the head professor at the San Fransokyo Institution of Technology, where he mentored such prodigies as the brilliant Tadashi Hamada, who admired him greatly. Notably, though he was passionate about science and robotics, Callaghan's true love lied within his daughter, Abigail whom he valued more than anyone or anything. After an accident at the hands of Alistair Krei, Abigail vanished off the face of the earth, eventually presumed to be deceased. The tragedy left Callaghan with a hardened heart, and since, he swore vengeance on Krei, eventually descending into villainous madness as time would pass and his lust for revenge strengthened.
