Another post.. so soon after the last one?! Well, now that I am enjoying my summer holidays.. I do have a bit more time. And while there is still a heatwave going on, today is a very rainy day. So I don't feel too bad about spending some time at my PC.

It's the long weekend of Pentecost, probably the least-known of holiday weekends in the Netherlands.. but hey.. any 3 day weekend is nice! And it means I have time to post something on my blog, YouTube and Flickr.

Anyway, the outfit is relatively simple: leather boots with a stiletto heel, a leather midi skirt and a leather jacket. As a contrast, I added a white top (not leather :-P ).

I will post one or two more of me in this outfit.. just because this outfit kicks ass! :)

So.. apparently, my fashion blog and my YouTube videos have reached monthly view counts such that web-shops have started sending me invitations to do collaborations. One of them is ROMWE, a Chinese on-line fashion shop. They told me I could pick 4 items after which I would make a blog-post and YouTube video about them.

Well.. I can do THAT! :-D

This is the first of four items.. grey yoga pants which I combined with red stiletto heels, because why not? :-P

We all know how this works.. the more traffic goes to their site, the happier they are. And the happier they are, the more willing they are to send me free clothes! :)

VIDEO: Walking around in all these heels in Rotterdam!

So, my apartment got flooded because of very heavy rainfall, two family members had serious medical issues and I'm in the process of moving house. On top of that.. lots of issues, challenges and stress at work, so it's not hard to imagine that on most of the evenings.. I just crashed on the couch!

Anyway, I might elaborate a bit on these things in a later post, but for now.. I just want to express how happy I am with the warm weather these weeks! Apart from that whole flooding thing! :-P

With this warm weather, I just love my cheap short dresses.. and I am totally in love with this red one! I don't have to think about coordinating stuff.. and I can just choose whatever colour shoes I want!

October already.. it seems 2022 is on our doorstep and I haven't even fully processed 2020! 😮

I'm enjoying my autumn holiday now (one of the few perks I have as a teacher). And besides doing a lot of resting.. I have also been doing lots of editing of my photos and videos.

In August, I visited a castle in the south of the Netherlands. And because we had a very disappointing cold wet summer, I opted for a maxi dress.

It was quite magical walking around in that castle.. so beautiful!!

I know owning a castle like that is very expensive and not very practical.. but I'd love to dream. 😊

It's still winter, so that means boots!! I know I can wear boots in the spring and summer, but that's when I want to wear pumps and sandals. 😉

So boots, tights and a dress it is.. and this time, the colour is grey. Quite different from black, ain't it? 😛

Not so long ago, I had a full day planned with dinner with friends, meeting up with another friend at one of my monthly social gatherings and at the end of the evening.. there was still a birthday party of yet another group of friends.

For such busy day, I just try to keep it simple. And for me.. that usually means a Steps dress and Steve Madden heels. :-D

This dress looks like a skirt/top combo.. but it really is a dress.. and like most Steps dresses, it fits very nicely. I guess they had my body shape in mind when designing these dresses!

I wish I could tell you that the weather had improved during these weeks, but no! Still raining non-stop.. which means I'm spending a lot of times indoor: reading, playing the guitar, watching movies and YouTube.

Also, I spend a lot of times behind my computer: editing my photos and videos, playing video games (totally loving Witcher 3 right now!), etc.

Fortunately, I have plenty of material from all my activities this summer. So, here's another outfit I wore on a Friday: I'd say this dress is perfect for both work and all the cocktails after! 🍸

I really love how this dress makes me feel like a Spanish senorita.. and it made me wish that I was back on the Canary Islands. But sadly, this wasn't Gran Canarias, Lanzarote or Barcelona.. this was just Rotterdam. And it was very windy.. and without sun, it was actually quite chilly!

Summarising my summer: it has been a busy couple of months.. haven't had any holidays yet.. and today, it's going to be officially autumn ( or fall if you're American :-P ).

Though that didn't stop me from enjoying the occasional sunny day with my friends!

Went to the harbour where ferries go from the Netherlands to Harwich.. sat on a cannon.. walk a bit in nature.. and then went to have a late lunch at the BK.. very healthy food! :-P

VIDEO: A quick one-take video shoot inside the house again.

Hi! Missed me? If not.. just lie! :-P

As you may or may not have known, I spent most of the month of March in the French and Austrian Alps, sliding down slippery snowy slopes. And it was awesome!

This is me in my "I want it to be summer so badly"-mode... wearing a definitely too-short tartan mini-skirt and my 5 inch stiletto peep-toes by Carlos Santana (yep.. the guitar guy).

It's been a while! This week, I've been feeling under the weather and last one's was so busy! Feeling better now.. even though my throat is still sore. But at least, I could start working on my photos and videos today! 😊

Here's me on a sunny day wearing my favourite colour: black!! But this time, with some white stripes. Short enough to feel sexy and classy enough for a cocktail party.. or at least, that's what I keep telling myself! 😛
