This bus was spotted at UTSC bus terminal doing a lay over on the route 905 Eglinton East Express.

Earlier this year I recieved this beautiful model of the South Eastern & Chatham Railway 'Wainwright D class' made by Dapol for Rails of Sheffield.

Whilst it does have a couple of minor glitches, there's no doubt its an absolutely stunning model. I'm particularly pleased with how this photo of it has come up. As usual a blended image from three separate shots.

Photographed in Halifax is this Transdev Team Pennine owned Optare Tempo X1130. It is registered YJ10 EZK with the fleet number of 1409 and is captured before working the 524 to Wainstalls.

Stars shown are within the Summer Triangle, but the three defining stars at the vertices are not shown here. To get your bearings, you can see Sagitta and the Coat Hanger asterism just near the curving structure on the left. The faint smudging among the stars is the Milky Way. Considering the original astro imaging was done from a moderately light polluted location, I'm pleased that the Milky Way is visible at all.

The building is in the center of a large brightly lit community college campus, and very few of these stars would actually be visible. The stars were layered in from a different photo taken from 900 miles away.

Pictured in Kirkby is this Merseybus liveried Leyland Titan. It is registered CUL 122V with the fleet number of 2122 and was new London Transport back in 1979.

An ornate and historic Gothic-revival building situated on the eastern bank of the Danube River in the heart of Budapest, this structure is home to the National Assembly of Hungary. This model was designed as a gift for my mom, who immigrated to the US from Hungary prior to the lifting of the iron curtain.

More photos available in the build album. Thank you to The Brothers Brick for their wonderful post about this build!

The 1924 Targa Florio winner car was a 2 liter, 4 cylinder, super-charged Mercedes, with Chistian Werner at the wheel. This car is an early example of the famous Merceds Compressor series, culminating in the famous SSK and SSKL.

Unlike the usual white livery of the Mercedes racers, this car was actually painted red: Rumour has it this was a camouflage strategy to stop Italian fanatics from throwing rocks at the passing car, because it might be taken for Italian.

In the 1920ies, the race cars were actually driven to the race track on public roads like normal automobiles. For this trip, mudguards and license plates had to be mounted, to comply with traffic regulations. My model is shown in both configurations: as a slick racer, and as a roadworthy automobile.
