Well, since Freddie joined the gang last week, the final 4 arrived. No more. Out of room. Can you find the new kids? That's right, Bernie, Dr. Fauci, Nancy P. and the Pope. I had to move the Statue of Liberty up to the higher shelf, and move Mueller to the very back row where I hope AOC will leave him alone. Cleo kept wanting to help me arrange the new ones so I made a deal with her that she could be in the semi-blurry photo if she'd not knock them over before I could close the cupboard door.

I got an unexpected gift from a friend in Montana this Christmas! It was a boxed salt cellar & sterling silver spoon set that she had found in a house where she was living in 1973-1974. She kept it all this time, in its original box & decided to give it to me, since she knew I collect salts. The salt cellar itself is fairly simple--square clear molded glass--#1525 in the Cambridge Glass product line. Although the design is simple, I do not have one like it in my collection. Because it was in a box that gave some information about it, I was able to learn its origin online. The spoon is the Enchanting Orchid pattern made by the Westmorland Sterling Company in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, USA--one of their five flatware patterns, circa 1952-1960. The boxed sets were a collaboration between the Westmorland Sterling Company & the Cambridge Glass Company of Cambridge, Ohio, USA, to be given out as gifts to prospective customers! Links below give further information. I photographed the salt in morning light with a rainbow cast by the prism hanging in my window! Not photoshopped!
