Captured at Runcorn's Old Town Bus Station is this magnificently preserved Leyland Olympian Coach with Eastern Coach Works body. It was working as a duplicate on the express X1 service that MP Travel is currently operating on behalf of Arriva North West. The X1 express runs between Liverpool and Runcorn. Arriva have now formally withdrawn the X1 service and the route has been put out to tender by Merseytravel, further updates on this are due to follow in due course.

During the Severn Valley Railway Autumn Gala I took this long exposure night shot of a steam engine and train leaving towards Bridgnorth.
My RTS is finally complete. New skins from Hugo Studio (Custom Camera Covers) and this classy half-case from TP Original (Martin Duke Shop on Etsy). The color is "volcano" and I like the contrast between the vivid tan and the black.

Pictured at Stevenage Bus Station is Arriva The Shires 3880, a 2011 Volvo B7RLE with Wrightbus Eclipse Urban 2 bodywork. It is captured in between duties on the 3 service to Pin Green & St Nicholas.
York - York RHTT takes a trip over Goole swing bridge. Drax prominent on the horizon, Eggborough just the chimney, the cooling towers were demolished the week before the pic was waken. A hint of Ferrybridge in the far distance.
1Z10 competition - IN CONTEXT. A single frame image with verticals corrected, shadows lightened and other minor processing changes.
This light bulb is more than 40 years old. I “discovered’ it in my basement during cleanup. Its highly reflective surface provided a fascinating challenge. After some experimentation, I ended up placing it under sunlight next to a window. The resulting shot showed a rich combination of colours, with the reflections of the window contrasting the lighted filament. The black background further accentuated overall effects.
Pictured in Kirkby is this preserved Merseybus Leyland Olympian with Northern Counties bodywork. It is registered F261 YTJ and it was new back in 1989.
Photographed at Brighouse bus station is this Arriva North West owned Alexander Dennis Enviro200 which is on loan to Transdev Team Pennine. It is registered LJ07 EDL with the fleet number of 2159 and was new to Arriva London back in 2007 as ENS2.

Captured in Kirkby taking part in the NWVRT Open Day is this preserved John Fishwick and Sons Leyland Atlantean with ECW bodywork. It is registered GRN 895W with the fleet number of 23 and was new back in 1975 as a Leyland development vehicle.
