here we can see the acutal valve "floating" there, it is held shut by operating pressure (min 0.5bar) and opened only by magnetic force from the coil.
X-Ray plate done after the surgery, which has been done to place an implant with screw. Here we can see one screw is larger in length and touching the soldier bone.

Failed late night in-door exposures with the homemade 16"x20" camera.

The cast came off and the pins came out, but the finger still needs about 3 more weeks to heal. The outside of the bone is healed, but as you can see the inside still needs more time.
He wasn't too happy - he was expecting to go back to wrestling tomorrow.
Week 25 - snapped a quickie of some old toof xrays while at the dentist. two of those ghostly teeth didn't appear in the most recent xray
An atypical Rigler's sign in a patient with a stented colonic carcinoma which has (presumably) perforated. The wall of the mildly dilated central small bowel loop is slightly thicker than usually seen, disguising what would otherwise be an obvious Rigler's sign. Analogous to pneumothorax with a consolidated lung. Note also gas outlining liver margins (right upper corner of film and just next to stomach).

x-rays taken last night at the emergency veterinarian clinic (think $$$$$+ !!!) trying to discover if my Sheltie had eaten something he shouldn't have ... to explain his intestinal distress and partial paralysis .. he just fell over and couldn't get get up ...
we spent many hours there waiting for the inconclusive results of multiple lab tests, before being released to come home and sleep ...
all they conjectured was "possible mild seizure" but ok to go home
he is much perkier this morning after having scared the frikkin' be-jabbers totally out of me ...
Surcy will be eleven in 6 days ... he's my sweet old man ... my only old man!
