XLProjects and Project Cargo Nexus successfully completed a joint meeting in Cape Town, South Africa, in November, 2013. The meeting was held in the Hilton Cape Town City Centre over a three day period. We had a very industrious time with the one-on-one meetings over a day-and-a-half. We kicked the event off with a welcome reception on the pool deck of the Hilton and on the first morning we got the meeting started with presentations given by Safmarine MPV, Antwerp Breakbulk Agencies, Sarens South Africa and Advanced International Networks. We also took time to enjoy a lovely dinner at the Simonsig wine estate in Stellenbosch which was greatly enjoyed by one and all.

Jacky Line Group was formed in 1988 and has continued to be owned and managed by its original founders. From comparatively small beginnings, the company has grown to become one of the leading freight forwarding cooperation in Israel, remaining independent and self financed all throughout this period.
Another factor, which has contributed in no small measure to its stability, has been the tradition of long service among its staff members.
Because of its diverse interests in all forms of international land, sea and air freight movements, Jacky Line Group is able to offer large and small customers a total freight forwarding service tailored to their precise requirements, which is enhanced by its network of overseas agents throughout the world.

CEA Project Logistics has become very well known as the company to call when it comes to launching Catamarans on the Eastern Seaboard of Thailand. Recently CEA launched a USD 2 Million Dollar Luxury 32 ton Catamaran using their 10 axle line hydraulic trailer and 2 x 65t mobile cranes. CEA had plenty of Modulift Spreader Bars and soft slings on hand to carry out the lift safely.
A smaller vessel known as the Gecko was launched a few weeks later and there are now 2 other Catamarans that will be launched before the New Year
Bati Group and Hacklin Team Up on Mine Project
Egypt Mining Industry Grows Logistics Demands
Istanbul, Turkey: XLProjects member, Bati Group, worked with Hacklin on a Door to Port shipment of mining equipment from Turkey to Egypt.
Moving a total of 100 tons and 1,000cbm, including one piece that weighed in at 38 tons and 5,17m was a challenge due to the unbalanced center of gravity of the cargo.
Using a low trailer for the oversized cargo, the last leg of the shipment via road transport was challenging.
However, the Bati Group team along with their partner Hacklin completed the shipment successfully with no damages and within the very limited timeframe allocated to them.
Well done to Bati Group!
