A behind the scenes flick from a photo shoot for the promotion of the new DYM website. The idea was to create images that were stereotypical tacky graffiti but at the same time great photography and glossy imagery.
The site and the images never saw the light of day.
Several weeks ago out of the blue I received an opportunity from a passing acquaintance. On March 1 Humber College in collaboration with Centre for Addiction and Mental Health's Recovery College (Toronto) is hosting an event, Arts & Access, with a view toward making post-secondary education more accessible for people with a lived experience of mental health and/or addiction. As someone with lived experience I was invited to co-facilitate a writing workshop with a member of Humber's faculty. Directing workshops is something I've always wanted to do, so she has given me the reins. Today I designed a workshop around ideas dear to my heart: self-help books for writers, writing to heal, and using sensory detail to describe natural places. Since we'll be working indoors, I began assembling resources: a few items writers can use to practice their observation skills.

We have begun a new initiative for admirers of Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi and Lord Jesus Christ to express their emotions through poetry.
Every Monday, people will be able to read one of their poems in front of our live audience both at our London office and online.
No matter what language you write in, if you have an original piece of poetry that you would like to submit, please send it to info@goharshahi.com. We will feature some poems every week on our website.
many thanks to les brumes for the texture

Thanks Robin for your poetry!!
Shadows reflection would liken her thought
as Bronte writing and a storyline sought
the plot then taken from the moments of her life
and an atmosphere created you could cut with a knife
the first line is the attention till the end must then hold
as pen forms the drama and the plot will unfold
romance and intrigue will wonder your mind
an outcome of hurt or happiness will find
we try to then to think ahead of the game
but to leave us unsure would be then her aim
all this by a candle and imagination the skill
and look forward to the next book we surely then will

“Individuality is only possible if it unfolds from wholeness.”
~ David Bohm ~
“Individuality is founded in feeling;
and the recesses of feeling,
the darker, blinder strata of character,
are the only places in the world in which we catch real fact in the making.”
~ William James ~
“The four cornerstones of character on which the structure of this nation was built are:
Initiative,
Imagination,
Individuality and
Independence.”
~ Edward Vernon Rickenbacker ~
"A graduation ceremony is an event where the commencement speaker tells thousands of students dressed in identical caps and gowns that 'individuality' is the key to success.”
~ Robert Purvis ~
I'm having a wonderfully meaningful dialogue with a precious flickr friend. We're talking about
two "great mysterious words that continuously challenge the process of going deep within oneself" . . . Reality and Love. Her reality is that Trust and Love will guide us and that Love never fails. If she is comfortable, I will share her identity at another time. I just feel so amazingly blessed at the way people reach out to me when they sense inner turmoil through my posts. In this way we can all grow, help one another, and benefit from this marvelous forum called FLICKR ~ it doesn't get any better than that!
Sharing and Caring with LOVE to all. Have a MARVELOUS week!
Initially, I began writing in my journal as a way to remember my high school days...but now I write to ease my mind. I highly recommend it :)

Contrary to rumours this is one shot no photoshopping involved.

Check out my 15 minute exposure
Black Marvy Le Pens and Black double-sided sharpies are my fave. Mixed in with a dollop of the cute (and pesky) clover that is currently running rampant in my back yard.
Heeeello there!
It seems there has been a little confusion in the net, so I wanted to make things clear.
BCEU will have a next edition, and we have been talking about it being held in Barcelona, so that's were the confusion comes... BlytheCon Barcelona is not BCEU.
We haven't made an official announcement, everything is still in the air, but we hope to see you next year, whenever BCEU takes place :-)
Stay tuned and thanks for your support!

Months going strong now, and no goodbye
Unconditional, unoriginal
Always by my side
Meant to be together
Meant for no one but each other
You love me, I love you harder so
Everything you say
Everytime we kiss, I can't think straight
But I'm okay
And I can't think of anybody else
Who I hate to miss as much as I hate missing you
I was listening to this song on repeat, I love it.
