The Chikuzen Wreck lies 13 or so miles northwest of Virgin Gorda and is one of the best dives I have done. Huge schools of grunts and snapper cover the reef as well as dozens of huge amberjack and almaco jacks and perhaps hundreds of great barracuda.
Epave du Liberty (détail) à Bali
Liberty wreck
This wreck (which is not a liberty-ship) was hit by a japanese submarine in the Lombok Strait during the 2° world war.
The ship was trackted until the Tulamben beach where the cargaison was recovered.
In 1963, a lava stream coming from the eruption of the Mount Agung moved the wreck in the sea where it was forgotten during 20 years. That allowed the colonisation of the wreck by a important marine fauna.
Now the wreck is between 3 and 35m, so all the divers can dive on this wreck.

I have been swamped lately between shooting photos for my school and the school work it self, but I finally found some time to post this snap i took at wreck city. It was a really cool event and I hope to see more like it in the future!
WRECKS was in town from Tokyo for an exhibit he is a part of. He wanted to go benching, so I took him to several spots. Here he got to see a crew kicking cars.
