Finished piece. I used a finished beach towel bought at Target and purchsed green Terry at fabric store. This project is a no brainer and worked up very quickly- if you have no little mermaids wanting to play with you whilst sewing...

Wraps do shopping Eldorado

Coca-Cola wrapped its bottles for the trade in the UK with a festive Christmas theme. Unfortunately the distribution did not get to the bars and restaurants until the new year. Apparently the wrapping was done by The Designers Republic who sold their souls to the man. Taken at the ICA.

A shot from the other day, when freezing rain created a shrink wrap effect on everything. My pick-up truck, perennials in the garden, etc. While twigs at the ends of branches show the ice well, it was actually difficult to get a good shot of the shrink wrap on tree trunks.

We have so many vines that have wrapped themselves around trees back in the woods. Here's an example of how the tree grew around the vine.

Fully lined wrap skirt, rayon silk edging, button.

When I spotted this thing from a distance my first thought was that I was about to find a rotting corpse wrapped in fabric. With great trepidation I poked it with the toe of my boot, and you can imagine how relieved I was to find it was only an old duvet cover filled with sand and half-buried.

I continued with my walk, while playing out the scenario in my head - what would have happened if a slimy human hand had emerged when I kicked it? . . . A call on cellphone to the police . . . stand still so that they can find it on this enormous beach . . . how long would they take to get here? Would they get here before the tide came in? Would the dogs attack the police officers and get me into trouble? Would I be able to restrain myself from uncovering the unfortunate victim's face and taking some photos?

Just as well, really, that it was only sand.

I shaped the ornament out of silver coloured copper wire and wrapped the beads to create this lovely ornament. Could be a tree ornament or maybe a suncatcher.

Needle wrap for a christmas gift for my sister in law.

Inspired by this tute, I had to change up the dimensions and such.

For this photo, I took a picture of my cousins dog, Yoda, wrapped up in a blanket, so it shows the "wrapped up" theme. I changed the aperture to a shallow depth of field to focus more on him. For the edit, I changed the white balance, vibrance, and exposure. I also changed the clarity to make his fur look more soft.
