Yesterday was the last day of the Brighton Tattoo Convention 2013! It's the first convention I've been to in maybe about two years or so (Maybe since this picture - www.flickr.com/photos/b-love/5404187031) and there were so many great artists there exhibiting their designs. Though I don't have a tattoo myself, I'm fascinated by them and I love visiting all the stalls and checking out all the individual styles on show.
this caught my eye as river played in the garden. maybe some elf hung his hat here.

Motorcycles in Guinea are often wrapped in plastic to keep the chrome parts looking new, thereby maintaining the resale value. (23.37a)

This Metrobus has an unusual wrap-around advertisement.
There's a local place that I love to go to. I can hear the Meadowlarks singing, and I can see the sunlight filtering through the trees.
It's my place of peace.
Where is yours? Where do you find solace?
Glad I stopped and took a closer look at this,it turned out to be a interesting little Flowered Bush.
One week of daily snow fall has left most of the city's otherwise grey and brown covered in a pristine coat of white. Today's consistent light snow left an additional coat of fluffy crystals on every surface.
In stark contrast with a mid February white snow on black wrought iron fence is a splash of blue. Thin rope wrapped tightly around one of the fence posts give a message of promise of the bustling summer farmer's market. In just a few months, the whites, greys and browns of winter will be replaced with the bountiful colours of fresh fruit and vegetables from Niagara farms and beyond.
With the weather being so foul, it's important to wrap up warm. So I have lots of things wrapped up all snug under my dress for work today and I feel so good x

***This outfit is modeled on Emerson.
PERSONAL FUN FACT written by my sister: This outfit photographs so beautifully when on the doll. The way light hits the detail on the flowers creates a false look of being three dimensional, when, in fact, the flowers are flat, just part of the fabric. But the details in them hit the light in a way that makes them look real and brings them to life. The silhouette of this dress is simply stunning. Emerson looks amazing in it! I liked this dress--all three actually (because they made them for 18 inch dolls and Bitty Baby as well)--the moment I first saw photos of it on the website. True, I was under the false impression that the flowers were 3D, like the ones on the Princess in Bloom outfit, but I still think that Emerson looks just as much as a woodland princess modeling this as Ashlyn does in Princess in Bloom. Despite my strong desire to have this outfit right away, we waited until it had been in the Last Chance Outlet, we had a coupon, and there was a monthly promotional offer. And, even with those three ways to save, we still waited until we had a really good excuse! We waited until someone gifted us five naked Wellies (including Emerson!) unexpectedly in February 2023. Then, we decided our Wellies "needed" us to buy a LOT of clothes. We did not, at this time, buy the dress for the full-size American Girls, but we do have the one for Bitty!

This didn't turn out quite like I thought it would, but I really do like it. I feel like the editing in this is really good. I have a few other shots I might edit and work with, but for now, I think this works. Sheet series and face time sets!
Also, I feel like this is very Silent Hill-esque. Agreed?
Any ideas, thoughts, or critiques?

Happy Holidays to all!
I tell ya, birds just love these apples!!!!!!! LOL...that is why I leave quite a few on the tree. All sorts of birds eat on them all year!!! The doves, all the woodpeckers, finches, robins, sparrows, and now this magpie is enjoying some!!! Geez, I still have about 30-40 lbs of apples left that I picked, and I'm freezing and using them almost daily!!!
We got a couple inches of snow today. Man...those snowflakes were about the size of silver dollars!!! LOL...they were so pretty I tried taking some pictures of them, but they didn't turn out.
