Actual metal flatware wrapped in paper napkins is becoming quite rare in these days of Corona Virus. Just when you thought single use plastic utensils were on their way out along comes a pandemic to bring them back with a vengeance.
A bit oversaturated - a problem when trying to process on the relatively small iPhone screen - but I like it.
(If I try to re-edit then I lose all my EXIF data - a known problem for "some" people that Flickr seems disinclined to fix - and I spent too long pushing sliders to want to start over)
This was still taken behind the sofa, but I pushed the leather ottoman back there to see if I could get the boys up to my level.
Riley lays across it all the time - rear paws on the floor and his chest across the ottoman while chewing his Nylabone - but do you think I could get him to co-operate?
No - he would get where I wanted him, I'd drape the fabric, reach for my iPhone, and then he'd get off - excited to get his Cookie.
Sweet Toby (here) who NEVER gets on the ottoman, was more than happy to co-operate. Oh the irony. The dog who didn't care for photo shoots is coming into his own.
The upshot is, this brings the dogs closer to where I can hold the camera (kneeling down not an option at this time) and I'm labeling this a success.
Maybe next time I'll get hubby to push the leather chair back there instead (it's too far from an outlet where it now). Riley loves to snuggle up in that chair.

12 sleeps to go
Since most of the Christmas shopping has been completed the next stage has begun, had a lot of help from Josh and Maddy, adding their artistic touch to the wrapping paper.

Ticking off lists...presents bought, wrapped, decorations up, getting our heads round cooking Christmas dinner for 2 Vegans, 5 vegetarians (one is also a coeliac ) and Mum....who will have a Duck breast...she's the easy one to sort out!

I saw this view and decided to shoot 4 images panning across the scene. I merged them in Lightroom and thought it was pretty cool. Shot at f/11 ISO 100 looking at Manhattan from Edgewater NJ. The fog was heavy so I had to pull over and give it a try... I would have been kicking myself if I didn't!

Why veganism:
100/365 I have no idea how this happened. I didn't even know what I was doing while I was doing it.
I skipped the past couple days because I had no time, no energy, and I reeaaally didn't want to post a shitty picture for my day 100.
This was actually scary for me. I'm super claustrophobic. So having my head totally wrapped in my hair, not being able to see a single thing, was major. It probably would have been hilarious to see a girl trying to blindly pin her hair around her face and pose fiercely without knowing if I was even standing in the correct spot.
I knew there was a good reason I grew my hair out.
I love this picture.
I can't believe I've made it this far. Thank you for every comment, view, and favorite. I WILL finish this project. And when I do, I'll have all of the incredible support and inspiration that your encouragement gives me to thank for it. You guys are awesome, don't ever stop clicking.

Colorful wrapped Siemens EuroSprinter (ES46B1-A) "Joana" from Medway with 1456 + 4721 +1907 on the usual Saturday loco train 57001 from Setúbal-Mar to Entroncamento. After refueling or being relieved by another unit, the locomotives return to Praias do Sado on Sunday. Seeing some freight wagons in these regular weekend trains is a matter of luck.
