Misfits - Static Age
This pretty little bouquet of paper posies has been upcycled from the Album notes of an old CD. After phasing out my compact discs I could never part with the books from all of my favorite albums, so I saved them for a rainy day.
Recently, I pulled out my bag of album notes, saw my flower punch across the table and realized their potential. Each Album Bouquet is composed of one particular album. I use the front cover as a wrapper or paper vase to keep the album recognizable.
These little bouquets make great party decorations when placed inside bud vases. And, they can double as favors for your guests!
This top-down wrap is knit seamlessly with raglan style sleeves. Cuffs feature a delicate floral bobble pattern and the sweater is trimmed with a simple i-cord. You'll fall in love with this wearable, classic cardigan and it's feminine details.
All snow globes hide the point where the dome enters the base and mine would be no exception. This band will wrap around and do the trick, but first it needs to be painted.
After my Ancient Cray Portrait series, which used 96 crushed up crayons, I was left with the wrapper for those crayons. Why not make a mask out of them I thought to myself.
how this held up in the ground - I have no idea - its tissue paper thin - I flattened it out and dusted it off - some of the stuff buried in the sand stays pretty dry - I find scratch tickets missing their cardboard portions (basically turning into a very thin foil) -

Today the Hereios of the We’re Here! Group are visiting Chocolate Lovers. Someone dropped their wrapper on the golf course.
The cellophane wrappers from Quality Street chocolates make useful coloured photographic filters – but they're not of the highest optical standard 😳
... (or rather food) by the Irish weather!!!
Those of you not lucky enough to live in this wee emerald isle will not understand why our grass is so green here! Oodles and oodles of lovely dark grey clouds and RAIN!!!
There was a Crème Brûlée sitting waiting here so I ran out of patience trying to capture the light on both wrappers and their reflections ..I know ..pathetic excuse.
And I think I should crop this one ...ah well it is too wet to concentrate..Lol!
Inspired by Rodney's wee image in the same place which I can't find but here is the link to his deLIGHTful stream www.flickr.com/photos/22246849@N02/ which is full of light.
fairly mundane/modern looking except for the red stripe and "home of the whopper" at the bottom - the only fast food bag in the latest lot.....
A trash can full of discarded Hershey's wrappers at the end of the Chocolate Tour ride at Hershey's Chocolate World in Hershey, Pennsylvania. An attendant hands a small chocolate bar to everyone at the end of the ride, and these are the wrappers from that.
