I made this with 792 pieces of candy wrappers, 792 pieces of recycled paper from a phone book, yellow burlap, felt and thread.
It just bugs me. It's not that hard to just walk over to a trash can and just dispose of it properly.
This is old (it was actually taken on 4th of July)
Totally random, but I suggest you listen to this song:

I love it so much
Cigars were the most popular tobacco product used in the 19th Century, with most households having at least one cigar smoker. A cigar box would contain several bundles of six to eight cigars, each bundle wrapped in a silk ribbon sporting a printed brand name or number. These ribbons served not only the practical purpose of packaging the cigars but also as a way to attract buyers to a specific brand. Women were encouraged through literature distributed by the tobacco companies to use them to make things for the home such as pillows, table covers, purses and even curtains for windows and doors. February 2nd 2007 made Explore #106.
These are the cutest things! I wasn't even looking for patterned cupcake papers in the craft store but I saw them and had to snatch them up. I also picked up a matching set of 4-capacity cupcake boxes with window tops... I'll post pics of those once I actually get cupcakes into them. ^_^

Bunny is still hard at work being a helpful hound as we get ready for the holidays. That ribbon can get out of control, though. If you're not careful, things can get out of hand, or paw as the case might be...

Once smartphones start performing well in low-light conditions, I think compact point-and-shoots will die off. That time isn't now, but it feels like it will be soon.

On a decaying fallen pine tree, in the thin space between wood and bark, a thin cylindrical world of vines and tendrils exists. The bark removed, this strange web of life is revealed.
