EXPLORE Worthy - The Number Games 6,S4 (2018 Art)

This is called the perfect number clock because 6 of it's numbers have been replaced by the lowest perfect number which is 6.

A perfect number is one in witch all of it's divisors, the numbers that can be used to multiply it, (1,2, and 3) when added together equal the number. There are only 4. The others are 28, 496, and 8128.

Probably the least spot-worthy car of the Netherlands. These city bugs are omnipresent. But this one has been owned by a friend of mine for the last 6 years, and has on the moment of writing probably passed 200.000km. I don't think he has ever taken a picture of it, so I will do it to prevent it going into oblivion.

On this picture he was picking me up to go get my BX, which was in winter storage at his parents' farm.

edit: 2-2024, after having just passed his APK (MOT) the head gasket blew. A rare event for these engines, according to the specialist. At 235.000km it just wasn't worth repairing and has been replaced by a Kia XCeed PHEV.

At university I wrote a Lovecraftian story about an ancient evil that pervades a small town, conveyed along "The Old Coach Road". My mum made up ghostly stories about a neighbouring road and this inspired my story.

To prep for a student film of the story in 1992/1993, I made dozens of black and white photos of locations in Blairstown and Hardwick in New Jersey, USA.

This is beneath the arches of the old mill that housed the town library on Main Street.

Went to Whole Foods and saw these beautiful bouquets. Had to buy myself some. Taken with NikonD7100 and edited with VSCOCAM.

Emeryville streets around the Pixar area are landscaped with sycamore trees, which drop carpets of pieplate-sized leaves everywhere. I wonder where they all end up.

Historic Barrio Viejo, Tucson, AZ May 11, 2011 — Today andrecarol and I explored the Barrio Viejo. One of the places we happened to see was the Alex Streeter Museum & Giftshop, 551 S Meyer. Alex, the master Silversmith, was kind enough to show us around. Thanks Alex!

This bigger-than-life personality creates works of art that have adorned some well-known celebrities. His work is what I love about Tucson! How on earth do you combine Rock and Roll, Goth, WWF, and the Orient into one cohesive body of work? It can only be done in Tucson! As he was showing us his back yard which is wall to wall art of all kinds, I found this sword in the stone. How cool is this?! He spent much of his professional life creating in Soho, Alex travels routinely selling today his creations as far the Orient. We are fortunate to have cultural icons like him here!

Torres del Paine National Park.

Hike around Lago Grey in awful weather. Windy, rainy and cold.

Grey lake is a beautiful show of nature for visitors from around the world. Its waters –recovered by sediments in the surface-, and the Paine Mountain behind it, turn it into a postcard worthy picture.

It has more than 500 meters of depth, surrounded by incredible rocky attractions. It was born from the Southern Patagonia Ice Field, and it is the birthplace of huge icebergs detachment from Grey Glacier.

Its gray waters are ideal to practice kayak and canoe, among other entertaining activities you can do around the place.

Glacial ice is a different color from regular ice. It is so blue because the dense ice of the glacier absorbs every other color of the spectrum except blue - so blue is what we see!

First leg of our "pilgramage" from Winchester to Canterbury.

I and a colleague are following the route that pilgrims took from the shrine of St. Swithun in Winchester to the shrine of St. Thomas a Becket in Canterbury. Not sure how long it will take as we want to look at things of interest along the way and only able to meet up about once a month!

This first leg took us from Winchester to the village of Martyr Worthy.

Originally a Roman settlement, the origins of the current city date from the reign of Alfred the Great who rebuilt the city to better defend it against the Danes. It is generally regarded as the capital of the kingdom of Wessex.

Usei o ímã da tampinha do Ludurana da BM e passei duas camadas de TC pra ficar bem lisinho e brilhante.

Achei maravilhoso e é diferente de tudo que tenho. Vale muito a pena ter um desse na cole *__*

I'm at a loss for what to say about this Nudibranch. I've never seen it, and may never again. I spent more time gawking at it than taking photos.
