Ah, you lucky ladies and lads with your shots in the underground metro stations of major cities, all shooting surreal images of passing rail cars and throngs of passengers...but fear not, Fergal shows that with the right amount of saturation, contrast, and other Lightroom gimmickry, even he can turn a passing train in remote Foxford, west Ireland into an urban nightmare worthy of Hipstergram.
Luke 3:16 King James Version (KJV)
16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:
The Rooks have been misbehaving today.
Trying to convince me that they are as worthy as the Woodpeckers, of the UPB mix.
I will admit to a softspot for the Rooks out of all of the Corvids.
This looks to be one of the older birds with the gap in the beak they seem to get, and it has a tick on its eye.
I do put down seed, away from the feeders used by the small birds.
~ It makes my lips numb just thinking about it, but if your friend is a good sailor and the craft is sea worthy then yes, I'll go sailing ~

Thanks indeed everyone for your personal comments and also your support from selected groups. Awards are encouraging and especially for those add my work to their 'faves'.

A gaze-worthy row of decorative Victorian homes in San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury district. They are known as the Four Seasons or the "other" Painted Ladies. Pictured from left to right are the Spring, Winter and Autumn Houses. The row was built in 1896 by shipper John Whelan.
The male painted buntings get all of the attention, but the green females are worthy of attention as well.

Every now and then we come across beauty that we just can’t ignore shooting. This Rose is just that “Worthy” of my patience and the heat for this capture. Please enjoy this along with me. Gratitude and Kindness were looking over my shoulder for this particular shot. Thanks for viewing my work and commenting.
While I was at work the other day, I spotted out of the corner of my eye what I thought was an H1 leader on the BNSF, so with some "free" time at the moment, I gave chase to the nearest location with decent sun for an eastbound.
Sure enough, I ended up at Topeka's Croco Rd. crossing, which is MP 49.72 on the BNSF Topeka Sub, and it WAS an H1 Dash-9 on the point! Here, we've got the BNSF 1080 leading the V-SAGNSI3 25A.
These were the very first units to be delivered from the factory in BNSF paint, with 163 units coming in the '96 & '97 deliveries. Since then, at least five are off the roster, a number have been repainted, and even more are stored less than a mile from this location in the East Field. As these units approach 30(!!!) years old, the time is now to photograph them.

Seen in Matlock Bath a rather splendid Harley D 103 owned by one of the Bikers Against Child Abuse, we had an informative discussion about their worthy, ongoing work in this area.
I didn't take too many detours over to the Peg when out hunting ore trains but an SD50F southbound in good light was a worthy target. Southbound at Britt during the dull spring color season (4/14/95). The cowl was ten years old at this point and is no longer on the roster, its number taken by a former Oakway SD60.
