On #WorldCancerDay we’d like to thank our researchers around the world for their superhuman efforts in the fight against cancer.
You have the power to fight â?ª#cancerâ?¬. About half of the most common cancers can be prevented by healthy lifestyle choices such as:
- maintaining a healthy body weight
- keeping active
- protection from ultraviolet radiation
- not smoking
- eating healthy, balanced diet
- cutting back on alcohol
On the #occasion of World Cancer Day, #cancer awareness programs and #activities were organized at the Siddharth Gupta Memorial Cancer Hospital, A Unit Of AVBRH, Sawangi (M) Wardha. These activities aimed to aware and #educate the general public about Cancer. Some activities held during this program included Human Chain formation by #students and Staff, Cancer awareness and inspirational acts by dental students which was coordinated by Amit Reche and Group, felicitation of cancer survivors by giving them shawl and Ganpati idol and honored discussion of survivors with their respective consultants and other Onco-Consultants.

World Cancer Day is dedicated to raising awareness of cancer and encouraging its prevention, detection and treatment.
