My first workspace in London:

The Vir2L office in London - back in dotcom heyday of 2000: shiny office, "designer" furniture", fast and big machines, lots of free books.

a long weekend of work at the computer! off to bed

Workspace for my girlfriend and me, set up using wall-mounted ELFA shelves from the container store.

Ok, yeah, I really need to clean this up. Some things are on my main workspace that shouldn't be there.. lol

reorganising my world

I cleaned my desk today, probably because I had a lot of nervous energy after drinking four cups of coffee (each with three creamers and five sugars).

Right now, the state is best described as a state of glorious chaos.

Here's my nook - I'm in the middle of quilt a few projects right now!

we worked on the basement all day.... cable tv for me, made it possible for me to play my ipod through stereo and hung the medicine cabinet.

My first project working solely with reclaimed (pallet) wood and I think it went well. Anyways, I made a desk for myself due to my dissatisfaction with what stores offered (or didn’t), and because I'm a college student who, odd as it may seem, doesn't need a limited amount of space, comfort, and character to be added stress. The whole thing seemed simple enough that I wouldn't even need draw up a plan. The odds went in my favor (this time) and it turned out to be an awesome project. There will be many more projects alike to come.

With exception of the 4in x 4in post as “legs,” the desk is completely made up of reclaimed wood.
