HARAJUKU is well-known as fashion Street of Tokyo. A shopping and entertainment district for the young and trendy. HARAJUKU first burst onto the scene in 1964 - the Olympic year. HARAJUKU's fashion is an extraordinary blend of goods reflecting the Japanese notions of "cute", "cool and American" and "rebellious and British". In other words a strange mixture of Hello Kitty, Disney, hip-hop and the infamous British punk and fancy dresses.

I went on downtown adventures last Thursday. I ended up in the Gap dressing room, for most of an hour...waiting to see if there were jeans in a different size, chatting with London girlies, and I made a friend in the booth across the way.

How fun is it to make a friend in dressing rooms??

Anyway, this is what I wore for the day, minus my jacket. I figured since I had been in the dressing room for so long, I might as well take a full-length photo.

Fun outfit for a fun day.

"It's a quarter after one, I'm a little drunk, and I need you no-o-ow." The only country song I'll ever like <3

Song: I Need You Now by Lady Antebellum

Mind if I call you SUN instead of SparklyUnicornNinja? It's shorter :). Anyways, this is just another option for the countryside theme. She's singing the song while playing the tune on her guitar :). I made this option a close up because her arms dont bend and it'd look weird. Before I took this photo, I had to move a foot long branch of poison oak out of the way with a 5 inch pen. Luckily, I dont think I got any on me. This took the longest of the three options because it was hard to balance the guitar on her lap, but I think it worked out okay. Hope you enjoy!
