Sprinkle a thick layer of demerara sugar on a piece of greaseproof paper. Press each side of the dough ino the sugar to coat. Wrap in the paper and chill for about 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 160`C(gas 3).

When ready to bake, remove the dough from the fridge and unwrap. Cut into thick slices and place slightly apart on non-stick baking sheets. Bake for 20 minutes, untl just beginning to turn golden brown.

Transfer to a wire rack to cool.

Snickerdoodles

Makes around 40

200g butter at room temperature, diced

250g caster sugar

2 teaspoons of vanilla essence

2 eggs

100mL milk

800g plain flour

2 teaspoons of baking soda (bicarbonate of soda)

150g wallnuts, finely chopped (or better, grinded)

for the coating

10 tablespoons of caster sugar

4 tablespoons of ground cinnamon

Beat the butter until light and creamy. Add the sugar and vanilla essence. Beat again. Beat in the eggs, then the milk.

Sift the flour and bicarbonate of soda over the butter mixture and stir to blend. Stir in the nuts.

Chill for 15 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 190`C (gas 5).

Lightly grease the baking sheet with olive oil.

When ready to bake, roll tablespoonfuls of the dough into balls the size of wallnuts, between teh palms of your hands. Tha roll into the sugar and cinnamon mixture.

Place the balls, spaced about 5cm apart on the prepared baking sheets. Bake for about 10 minutes.

Transfer to a wire rack to cool down.

God, i hate this photo...this theme was so effing hard!

-_- All the others are WAAAY better!!!! Dammit (i'm too competitive xD). Anyways, I used a gray BG so that her neon clothes would POP!! I hope it worked! I only had neon pink and neon orange colors, so yeah... maybe that's why i hate this photo, lol (I hate those two colors xD). I edited her eyes a neon purple cuz i felt like it!! yep. What i wouldn't do without picnik... oh no, it's closing soon!!!!!!!!! DOES ANYONE HAVE ANOTHER EDITING SOFTWARE???!!! Dammit -_- I'm gonna die after April 19.
