Grease Alley, an industrial backwater neighborhood in a blade-runner/fifth-element genre. These shops back onto a trash and old parts-strewn gully, where the junk skiff comes by to pick up broken components, industrial leftovers, and the occasional "borrowed" part.

I have been working on a piece about anxiety in confinement for three months.
The time has come to add a figure to this and I have been sampling various ideas which will be put into a book.
The exhibition is scheduled for July and the book should accompany the (hopefully) finished piece

Bell tower of Romanesque Cathedral.

--------------------------------------------
Hear the sledges with the bells -
Silver bells!
What a world of merriment their melody foretells!
How they tinkle, tinkle, tinkle,
In the icy air of night!
While the stars that oversprinkle
All the heavens seem to twinkle
With a crystalline delight;
Keeping time, time, time,
In a sort of Runic rhyme,
To the tintinnabulation that so musically wells
From the bells, bells, bells, bells,
Bells, bells, bells -
From the jingling and the tinkling of the bells.

the shirt is taking forever, but it should come together when finished this evening.
This is a model which my daughter made whilst in Nursery. She said that it was me!.
I pressed heated forma foam ( memory foam) into the face and I hope to use the imprint to print on to paper and fabric. I could get very excited about the possibilities of this product. It seems to be mostly used for taking imprints of natural products, such as leaves. Angie uses embroidered Indian fabrics from which to take an impression. ... but what about using your own stitching or mixed media piece..... it's almost like a collograph in reverse.
