During the last year we were fortunate enough to have some garden space to escape from the house (we indeed camped in the garden for a few weeks). Over winter we were more house bound, but now we have a warmish spell (it was literally double figures!) we have escaped to the garden again.
This photo in part me testing the eye focus on the X100F, which I'd never thought to try before, mostly as I don't take many people pictures. But the few pictures I'd taken of people in the spur of the moment do tend to have the face slightly out of focus, so I figured it was time to try use this new technology. This photo has the camera set to its shallowest depth of field and the photo has the face perfectly in focus, so job done!

I love this top and these new leggings. off to work now...
Taken on the same coffee break as the last shot. Rodger was too cool to pose for me instead I took this shot when he leaned over to see what I was doing. I think it worked better in the end.

Sometimes a drawing doesn't work. But I try not to think of them as failures. They are a new beginning. This example has been a simple charcoal drawing, an oil pastel colour piece, it's had a cut and shut and now at the end of the day it finally might be going somewhere. It's always a challenge.

A new field of activity for me - cars. And my first model to use Control+ hub and Control+ and WeDo 2.0 motors.
Can you guess the make and model?
Now comes the hard part - modelling the body...
This guy rode with the cement pouring equipment at the end of a big crane, from the cement mixers to the location where the cement was needed - at times I guess he was at least 15 meters/50 feet above the ground, and the thing was swinging wildly in all directions. Not a job for me...
I have been working on making my own doll on and off since 2007. The first prototype was made of wax and in 6th scale, but now I'm leaning more towards making the doll in 4th scale instead as the larger fashions can be more detailed and fabrics flow more naturally on a 16" figure than on a 12" one. I haven't started working on the 16" body yet, but hopefully I'll have time to get started during the Christmas holiday.
I have been sculpting this African head for some months now, but this is the first resin cast of the work in progress. It's very coarse at this point and the resin has bubbles in it that make the poor girl completely pox marked, but I still wanted to share this with you and hear what you think. :)

The StreetScooter Work is an electric van developed and produced by Deutsche Post. These vans are built in Aachen, so these ones are probably brand new, just coming from the factory.
I did some Picnic work on this 6 months old pic.. Personally I liked this shot a lot . I highly recommend going here if you are going to Goa..
The place is called NaaDora, which is 25 KMs from Panjim in Goa. The river Mandovi flows here and early morning people start extracting sand from the river which would be used for construction purpose!
Certainly an amazing view you would get from the bridge.
One of the positive blocks in a nine block positive/negative repeat. I took this mainly so that if the cat or other family member brushed past and knocked a few pieces off, I'd have a visual record to get things back in order quickly as I piece. Since we've moved I have no studio and must work in shared space. . .harumph! Fabric addicts can see a bit of what's in my stash in these colorways. Do you see any of your fabrics here?
