They all want you to think like that and deliver something revolutionary every time. It can`t be done every single time. Should it be chased?
I made a poster out of this scene way back just to get some extra use out of it. Also the original didn't show the full scene.
Also I've since came up with a new wordmark for the series. What do you think?
Moving right into the action now, here’s a shot of the station as seen from the eastbound side of Commerce on Friday, February 2nd, 2018. As best as I can tell, this is the very day that the remodel began.
Before taking this shot, we actually were heading across town – say, 30 minutes or so prior. We passed the station, but I didn’t have my phone out to take any photos since I couldn’t tell any activity was taking place as I approached from the west: we’ll see why in a moment. But I can say that, on that original pass-by, the old “Shell” wordmark and associated yellow paneling was still up on this left side of the canopy. Its removal took place while we were on the other side of town taking care of whatever it was we were doing. By the time we wrapped things up and drove back toward home, this was all that remained… so in effect, I missed the action :/

Yep, it`s time..i always say that i`ll go every week, but somehow i go every 2nd or even 3rd week. I`m really having a hard time to make that commitment which is funny cuz i simply can not stand longer hair anymore.
Remodel, Week 32
Picking things up at Sam’s once again in the bakery department, this time with a close-up of the new signage itself. While this sign, and several others back here in fresh grocery, mostly carry over the same design from the décor found all over the rest of the store, what makes these unique is the addition of the Member’s Mark logo and wordmark alongside the department name. As such, the department names are pushed downward a little bit to accommodate that wordmark, and the shape of the sign goes from a straight edge to a bowed-out shape on the left side in order to conform to that logo. Now… Sam’s just needs to make sure the Member’s Mark logo isn’t redesigned between now and the next time the store remodels, haha!
Beneath the bakery sign here, you can see a white wall. While it’s kinda difficult to tell things exactly due to how zoomed in this shot is, I believe that this wall is a new addition to the store. Previously, it would have been a half-wall, as you can see in this photo. The new full wall allows for a less cluttered background view, and more space for fixtures.

Glenrothes based 54332 was seen on Princes Street inbound on one of the express services from Fife via the Forth Road Bridge. The vehicle was new in 2016 and was initially branded for Fife to Glasgow Airport service. The coach is seen front of the former Debenhams store which is now being redeveloped as a Marriott Tribute Hotel with some retail on the ground floor.
SET 3 – HLT Remodel: 4-20-2023
(cont.) When we get to those post-remodel exterior pics, y’all will have to let me know if you’ve seen that design before anywhere else, in addition to your thoughts on it. It’s also entirely possible that it’s existed for a while, and that I just haven’t seen it (or worse, I’ve been completely ignorant and forgetful of where I have, haha!)
The store’s heretofore current exterior design is original to its 1999 opening, as is the signage (complete with full-sized wordmark!), although its paint job has been changed a few times over the years. Many of these paint jobs have played off of the tiered design of the façade, with different shades on different tiers, as we can see here.

This particular Red Sox hat is one of my favorite hats in my collection. I like the worn-out look on it. I've worn this particular hat on a few vacations. This is my second favorite Red Sox hat in my collection. It has the traditional Red Sox B logo on the front and the Red Sox wordmark on the back. I have about 8 or 9 Red Sox hats and other merchandise in my collection.
might not be from Boston, but I will always be a diehard Red Sox fan.
Hi,
I want to resubmit my artworks. The reason is the changed wordmark.
Wallpapers 1, 1b are mede in Inkscape. The 1b version is pure vector
graphic the version 1 is exported from Inkscape and edited, textured in
GIMP.
Wallpaper 2: The basic idea is the collosion of two color spaces CMY(K) and
RGB.
The background texture was done in GIMP. The background with the lights was
created in Blender (Nodes, Cycles). The logo and the text was downloaded
from official UbuntuStudio website and edited (colored) in Inkscape.
Finally it was put together in GIMP using the template from the website.
If needed, i could post the original source.

Funny, but i`ve stumbled upon this cool article 20 mins after posting this design today.
SET 4 – Appling Kroger, Pre-Remodel
Finally back outside, here’s a centralized shot of the façade, in all its brick classiness (slash weirdness). The classic “The Kroger Co. Established 1883” text remains (in gold!) on the façade here, beneath the unusual, one-of-a-kind (?) all-caps Kroger wordmark. While not part of the remodel, the storefront signage was eventually replaced to the new fresh cart logo; still clad in white against the brick, though, and excluding the cart icon itself (thankfully!).

SET 1 – HLT Remodel: 4-20-2023
Finally, as we prepare to step inside, here’s a close-up of the existing façade. Definitely a classic Target design here, and even though it’s had a number of new paint jobs over the years, it has never once been altered in any other kind of way, not even a reduction of the logo to just the bullseye icon minus the Target wordmark. Of course, as y’all would expect, that very reduction is indeed what was forthcoming with the remodel, as well as the addition of a lot more red – but I will say the reconstruction was different than I might have pictured, with a design I can’t say I’ve seen on any other Target stores. I think it turned out fairly nicely; I’ll be eager to get y’all’s opinions, too, once we get to the final photoset of this long-form series.

Another shot from outside the Rockin' Roller Coaster. Even in a newer area, one were you wouldn't think they can hide a lot of details, you find record-inspired brass fittings in the ground. Looking at this shot again, I think I'd still take it with the ultra-wide, but I'd try to shoot toward the big guitar, getting that as a background while also making so the wordmarks on the record-logo were right-side up.

A new craft soda to hit the market, Sip soda required a logo and bottle design. We created these distinct labels for Sip sodas by using slim sipping straws to illustrate their unique flavour profiles, paired with a strong, clean wordmark that commands shelf presence.

SET 1 – Horn Lake Target, Post-Remodel
(cont.) In this close-up of the sign, you can see how a number of its placards (for lack of a better term) have been replaced. Target, of course, is the most notable for this album as well as the most recent, ditching the longtime capital-letter wordmark for the newer all-lowercase one. However, American Freight on bottom was relatively recent at the time, too, having replaced FFO Home (which itself replaced OfficeMax after that store closed); and Kroger decided to put up a new one, too, even though this one, just like the one before it, doesn’t actually show a logo the chain uses (so I’m not really sure why they bothered replacing it). The remaining slots, I believe, are all original to the shopping center’s construction (and you can particularly see some yellowing on the one for the hotels).

I guess i`ve already said which one i prefer. In a new apartment i have only shower and is driving me crazy..quite often. I really miss my bath from the previous place and i`m thinking to move mainly cuz of it. Crazy? Which one do you prefer?
Concept:
It`s quite simple and straight forward here. I`ve connected the common thinking bubble shape with the bath (and bubbles) into the one to portray the state of the missing and thinking about the bathtub.

30 Rockefeller Plaza is an American Art Deco skyscraper that forms the centerpiece of Rockefeller Center in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. Formerly called the RCA Building from 1933 to 1988, and later the GE Building from 1988 to 2015, it was renamed the Comcast Building on July 1, 2015, following the transfer of ownership to new corporate owner Comcast. Its name is often shortened to 30 Rock. The building is most famous for housing the NBC television network headquarters. At 850 feet (260 m) high, the 70-story building is the 14th tallest in New York City and the 39th tallest in the United States. It stands 400 feet (122 m) shorter than the Empire State Building.
The building underwent a $170 million floor-by-floor interior renovation in 2014. The renovation included new Comcast signage atop the building; new ground-level signage that reads Comcast Building; and, for the first time, the display of the iconic NBC Peacock logo on the building's exterior.
The building was completed in 1933 as part of the Rockefeller Center complex. The noted Art Deco architect Raymond Hood led a team of Rockefeller architects. It was named the RCA Building for its main tenant, the Radio Corporation of America, formed in 1919 by General Electric. The famous photograph Lunch atop a Skyscraper was taken during the construction of the 69th floor. The National Broadcasting Company, had both the Red Network and the Blue Network housed in the new building, which was also nicknamed "Radio City". NBC was the first national radio network in the country and was started by R.C.A. in 1926.
The office of the Rockefeller family occupied Room 5600 on the 56th floor. This space is now occupied by Rockefeller Family and Associates, whose offices span the 54th to 56th floors. John D. Rockefeller had a private vault in the basement of the building, accessible via a private elevator from his office.
In 1985, the building acquired official landmark status. The RCA Building was renamed as the GE Building in 1988, two years after General Electric re-acquired the RCA Corporation. Some still refer to the building using its old names, out of habit or fondness.
The building's address became the title of the NBC sitcom 30 Rock (2006–2013), which follows the cast and crew of a fictional television show filmed inside the building. Aside from two live episodes, which were produced at NBC's facilities inside the building, the series used the building mostly for exterior and occasional lobby shots, while interior scenes were filmed at Silvercup Studios in Long Island City, Queens.
From the end of 1960 through October 1993, the building's mezzanine level housed the New York City weather forecast office of the National Weather Service; it was relocated to eastern Long Island, on the grounds of Brookhaven National Laboratory at Upton, New York. KWO35, the NOAA Weather Radio station serving the majority of the Tri-State area, originally transmitted from atop the building and remained there until 2014. Due to interference with a U.S. Coast Guard radio channel, the transmitter was eventually relocated atop the MetLife Building. A weather radar station was also located atop the building (it was previously used as Doppler 4000 during WNBC-TV's local newscasts).
In June 2014, Comcast was granted permission from the Landmarks Preservation Commission to make modifications to the building to reflect its ownership of NBCUniversal. The GE Building would be officially known as the Comcast Building. Comcast planned to replace the neon GE lettering from the top of the building with a 10-foot (3.0 m) tall, LED-lit Comcast wordmark and NBC logo, and add a 17-foot (5.2 m) NBC logo on the building western's facade. Additionally, a new marquee was added to the Avenue of the Americas entrance, advertising it as the home of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. On July 1, 2015, the name change and new signage were made official.
The building is one of the most famous and recognized skyscrapers in New York. The frieze located above the main entrance was produced by Lee Lawrie and depicts "Wisdom", along with a slogan that reads "Wisdom and Knowledge shall be the stability of thy times", from Isaiah 33:6 (KJV). The vertical detailing of the building's austere Art Deco facade is integrated with a slim, functionally expressive form. The present exterior is recognized for the Comcast logo with the NBC peacock at the building's top. The famous marquees above the building's 49th and 50th Street entrances have been seen on numerous television shows, such as 30 Rock and Seinfeld. Unlike most other tall Art Deco buildings constructed in the 1930s, 30 Rockefeller Plaza has no spire on its roof.
Below the building is a shopping concourse, connected to the lobby via an escalator. The open lobby's rich materials and reduced black and beige ornamental scheme is enhanced by dramatic lighting. Granite covers the building base to a height of 4 ft (1.2 m) and the shaft has a refined facade of Indiana Limestone with aluminum spandrel panels.
The 65th floor of the building is an event room and restaurant named the Rainbow Room. It was revamped and reopened to the public with new operators until it closed in 2009 due to the economic downturn. The interior of the Rainbow Room holds landmark status, awarded by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission in 2012. Following extensive refurbishment, the Rainbow Room reopened in fall 2014.
The observation deck atop the skyscraper, dubbed "Top of the Rock", reopened to the public on November 1, 2005, after undergoing a $75 million renovation. It had been closed since 1986 to accommodate the renovation of the Rainbow Room. The deck, which is built to resemble the deck of an ocean liner, offers sightseers a bird's eye view of the city, competing with the 86th floor observatory of the Empire State Building 200 feet (61 m) higher. It is often considered the best panoramic city view, if only because it offers a view of the aforementioned Empire State Building, which cannot be seen from its own observation deck. The timed entry system and larger observation deck also results in shorter waiting times compared to the Empire State.
British Rail’s last trains and Scotland’s last publicly owned trains (the last mentioned, at least until 2022) ran on 31st March 1997 and the new franchise holder, the National Express Group, took over the following day. The ScotRail brand had been introduced in 1983 when it was part of BR’s Provincial division. The latter became Regional Railways from Dec 1990 and ScotRail was the only RR sector to retain its own identity. The original “Whoosh” logo in blue, orange and yellow with this wordmark was launched in 1994 (when ScotRail became a train operating company within BR), but after the start of the National Express franchise in 1997, the colours were changed to the purple, orange and green seen here. The “Whoosh” logo would be superseded by First”s “f” logo from 2004. That was then replaced by Transport Scotland’s Saltire inspired ScotRail brand and logo, launched in September 2008 to stop future owners changing liveries, brands and logos.

A vintage photo of two men in front of a slot machine. The men's heads have been replaced by the heads of hooded figures wearing Guy Fawkes mask. The image is sepia toned: the only color is the pay-line of the slot-machine, which is showing three glaring red eyes of HAL 9000 from Stanley Kubrick's '2001: A Space Odyssey.' The slot machine has a sign over the rotor-window that displays the Openai logo and wordmark.

The East Towne Mall (not to be confused with the East Town Mall in Green Bay) opened in 1971, and was the biggest mall in Wisconsin at its time of construction.
The mall originally boasted Penney's, Sears, Prange's/Prange Way, and Gimbel's as anchors. Much has changed, and the whole mall has gone through several sets of renovations over the years. But one feature that remains unchanged is the JCPenney exterior facade; featuring the "brutalist" two-story look and matching auto center that so many of the chain's mid 1960s to mid 1970s stores had.
I'm not sure whether this location was one of the first to bear "JCPenney" signs from the outset, or one of the last to bear the funky "Penney's" nomenclature of the 1960s. The wordmark changed in August 1971; though a few stores opened in the months thereafter with the old logo.
A redesign of the newest scrabble logo and an attempt to revive the best of the old logo. More about the project on: matt.cc/post/212251069

It`s like regular and common toilet equipment. Maybe funny, but lots of mine ideas are coming from there.. How about you? Drawing, reading, surfing, twitting from there? :)
