This is Sarakate's wool mixed with the mohair, just before spinning. I pulled out the roving and mohair mix in a pre-drafted ball, and it worked very nicely. This clearly shows the teal notes in the wool.
This ALL WOOL hat features bits of my own hand dyed, handspun wools, as well as chunky commercial wools. Matches everything! Blues, purples, greens, pinks, violets..
And all topped off with a super cute, retro-style POM POM.
These fabulous Random Rugs are exceptional. Made from recycled fibres they are a sustainable quality blanket and proving to be extremely popular.
Random by name, random by nature – due to the re-spinning process no two blankets are the same, each is totally unique and individual in colour combination.
However all are beautiful and ideal as sofa throws, bed blankets, draped over an armchair or even a snugly bed for man’s best friend!
Equally they are perfect for the great outdoors adding comfort whilst picnicking, warmth at sporting events, a cosy layer whilst camping or as an essential piece of kit in the car. A must have for any impromptu alfresco moments.
Hand felted with a needle.. A wool and sterling silver bracelet. I rarely have time to photograph things correctly.. this is a scan!

Yet another Warm Heart Woolies diaper wrap, made from soft-soft Malabrigo. I think the color is slightly off in my photos but it's close enough.
Not sure if I'm going to keep this for the bebeh-to-be or sell it.
Yarn: Malabrigo worsted, color Hollyhock

you go to john lewis to treat yourself to some wool to reknit you hat now you know you can do it.
You find the perfect wool combining all your favourite colours and it's 100% wool so you can call it wool not yarn.... but... it's too skinny.
You buy it anyway because nothing else measures up, run home, and knit up a little swatch immediately, and the stitches are indeed too small, but you like them small, and you are desperate to use your only double pointed needle-sticks rather than buy more.
the gauge of the i cord beanie from woolywormheads woollywormhead.com/page28.htm is 16stiches per 4inches.
the beautiful gorgeously lovely wool knits at 22 stitches per 4inches
Since the pattern increases 6 stitches at a time, and 22 is 6 stitches more than 16, is it ok to merely add a row of increases into your hat pattern, or will this cause your hat to come out horribly mishapen leading to your untimely demise?????
