Found the Uncle Sam with the M1911 several years ago on a 1917 LESLIE'S magazine cover, the one line caption with it was "GET OFF THAT THRONE", which was in reference to Germany's Kaiser William II.
I decided to modify it with the addition of our military's service crests and text about keeping the wolves at bay.
John Montgomery Flagg also did the famous I WANT YOU image about the same time.
In March 2015 I had the honor of photographing the Metalcore band "Among Wolves" at the 2nd gig ever, at Lygten Station in Nørrebro, Copenhagen.
Wolves Kicks, West Bromwich Albion, Aston Villa and The Way Youth Zone played in a football tournament at Aldersely Stadium.
Taken during a little photo tour with my photo buddies. We visited Hommossa
Springs State Park. A great place to visit with a wide variety of Florida animals and birds and extremely well kept. They also have an interesting series of shows to include a manatee show.
Them Wolves play at "Off The Cuff" at The Flapper in Birmingham, Sunday 29 July 2012.

In 1995 wolves were reintroduced into Yellowstone National Park, after a 70 year absence. They were introduced because the elk had been overgrazing inside the park. They were introduced to balance out the ecosystem. In other words they were supposed to bring the wild back into Yellowstone. And they have been successful.
"Yellowstone wolves are causing a trophic cascade of ecological change, including helping to increase beaver populations and bring back aspen, and vegetation." The elk carcass in the photos had been brought down by wolves and that carcass is feeding the whole community of wildlife. In addition to keeping the elk populations under control and on the move wolves also keep the coyote populations in control.
