I preached in the open-air market in Lietnohm in November 2005. My primary text was the simple parable of the Lost Sheep. This man, a witch-doctor, responded to the invitation to come to Christ by faith.
A Witch Hazel leaf this colour in August ? Strange things are happening this year in the U.K. A beautiful plant most of the year anyway.I did use a method of isolating the leaves from the background, but the colours were as you see them.

The Witch Monument is a memorial to the victims of atrocities during the times of the witch hunt in Vardø. The monument is a collaboration between the artist Louise Bourgeois and the architect Peter Zumthor. Vardø was the place in Norway where most witches were condemned and burned (many were of Sami ancestry). 91 people were executed in Finnmark, most of them in Vardø, on Steilneset were this monument is erected.
My little witch. <3
Nix is going to need a new faceup someday. But with all the pollen in the air I just really don't want to do it. She'd turn out yellow! I want different eyes for her as well. I love the color of these eyes, they remind me of owls, but they just never look right in the head. ;-.-

This is a finished card and is my favorite color scheme of all the versions I did. This card was stamped and colored with pastel. Next I applied crystal lacquer to the broomstick and pot; then added glitter glue accents various spots for a bit of magic. Witch rubber stamp is by Whipper Snapper Designs and bat is by Cherry Pie Stamps.
I took this pic in a friend's house at Magnetic Island, Townsville, Australia.
I used a wonderful texture from www.flickr.com/photos/beapierce/sets/72157601574009156/. Thanks NinianLif.

Witches Broom on Juniperus horizontalis 'Creeping Juniper', This is not uncommon on Junipers in our area. The needles form a ball like growth that will eventually die. A Witch's broom is a disease or deformity in a woody plant, typically a tree or shrub, where the natural structure of the plant is changed. A dense mass of shoots grow from a single point, with the resulting structure resembling a broom or a bird's nest. Witch's broom growth may last several years and can be caused by many different types of organisms, such as fungi, insects, mistletoe, mites, nematodes, and viruses, Erlton-Roxboro Natural Area, Cypress Family, Cupressaceae, 2008 25 Jul_2122acr
