The name 'Witch' in Witch Hazel has it's origins in Middle English 'wiche' from the Old English 'wice' meaning 'pliant' or 'bendable'.
Hat I made for Chris in Viv's "Witch Hat Swap." Paper mache base (I used a taller cone for the crown) is wrapped in black chenille yarn. Brim is covered in black sparkle and ringed in tulle and black satin roses.
Mixed series of four. This witch was suspended from an oak tree in the middle of a wood last year by someone unknown
. A few months later she had fallen to the ground. I tucked her into the tree roots and was pleased to see she was still safely where I left her when I visited her recently!

What is in a name? Power, control over holding another's name. To a witch, essential. Never let them know your true name. Never, ever show signs of weakness or emotion.
The twin child of an inapt witch. Izzy was the mirror opposite of her dark, beautiful sister, Isadora. Her skin so pale it was translucent. Her hair held no pigmentation to it & her eyes were luminescent and cold like ice.
The world had not know one so callous and cruel, a twin seed spoiled, & spawned from the womb of a pathetic hag and witless farmer.
Bowmans Cemetery is located in the middle of the woods in the town of Rogers Ohio. The cemetery has been visited by many paranormal investigators and curious teenagers for years. This grave is supposedly that of a witch who was hanged on the branches of the tree the grave is leaning upon. Someone has apparently seen the blair witch project too many times, as they have put the blair witch symbol next to the stone.

The pink witches were the other special characters during the Halloween celebration.
This was actually the first year they were used.
They're the adversaries of the PumpkinMen.
This picture was taken during one of their little parades over Main Street USA.
The girls dressed up as the witches all liked my costume, because it was pink just like theirs :)

Witches of Ellezelles.
Ellezelles is the center of "Pays des Collines", a landscape of hills in the southern part of Belgium where the ghost of Quintine de la Glisserie (a witch burned in 1610) is still wandering around.
Do any of my more "mature" viewers know what this is? It was not easy capturing it. This thing is like 2X3 inches!!

I'm not sure if this an actual witch ball- and I don't know any witches to test it with - but it was at the florist's shop and I thought it was interesting.
