I was enjoying a lazy Sunday afternoon, lying on the couch listening to my favorite radio program (Wiretap) and thought it might do as my portrait for the day. Obviously (furled eyebrow), I wasn't able to convey the laziness and relaxed-ness of the afternoon as I was feeling whilst listening to the radio.

ACLU Sues Over Unconstitutional Dragnet Wiretapping Law
The Watergate scandal began at The Watergate, a complex of apartments, retail stores, and offices that included the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee (DNC). On June 17, 1972, burglars entered DNC HQ intending to install listening devices and wiretaps. D.C. police caught all but one of the burglars after a call from a security guard who noticed a suspicious piece of tape on an office door.
The security guard, Frank Wills, never received the recognition that he deserved.

As of that date (4/29/06) our exhaulted ruler George W. Bush according to the Boston Globe had circumvented 704 laws. That's more than his father (212) and Bill Clinton (170) combined. And this is the man that says he can wiretap any American citizen without a warrant? Even if we could elect him to a 3rd term (God Forbid) he would not get back in. His approval rating is in the toilet. And this is an administration that's apparently bathed in oil. Dick Cheney once served on the Union pacific Railroad's Board Of Directors and did something with Halliburton. Richard Davidson runs UP now and well, if you go to www.snakebites.org/archives, well you'll see similarities between Union Pacific and the Administration.
But I agree with this.
I found this car in the shopping plaza.
A grateful nation watches "Dick" Cheney's puppet head back to Texas,,
and totally oblivious to the damage he's caused the country....so-long slappy,,happy trails to you ,,until we meet again,,,hopefully at your trial...
Collaborated with my friend Edward to make a photo to go with one his stories titled This is a Non-Secure Line. Shot this at a non-secured phone junction box.
This just about says it all!
Wake up and pay attention to what's going on. Rights first granted by the Magna Carta? Gone. Rights protecting against illegal wiretapping? Gone. Secular government in Iraq? Gone. Government of, by, and for the People? Gone.
Octogenarian Gus Fromuth says "Enough Already." I asked Gus about his participation in the vigil and he said that he is compelled to speak out because Bush stole the election, Gonzales is wiretapping, and all the lives - American and Iraqi - that have been destroyed because of the war.
Accountability, said Gus, is vital and without it, we are in trouble. Gus said we need to hold our public officials accountable.
Why are you guys so anti-dictators? Imagine if America was a dictatorship. You could let 1% of the people have all the nation's wealth. You could help your rich friends get richer by cutting their taxes. And bailing them out when they gamble and lose. You could ignore the needs of the poor for health care and education. Your media would appear free, but would secretly be controlled by one person and his family. You could wiretap phones. You could torture foreign prisoners. You could have rigged elections. You could lie about why you go to war. You could fill your prisons with one particular racial group, and no one would complain. You could use the media to scare the people into supporting policies that are against their interests. ~ The Dictator (2012)

On Monday, July 11, 2016, Mike and I headed to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) to exchange our Florida driver's licenses for Texas ones. Given the lengthy wait ahead of us, we decided to visit the nearby Texas DPS Historical Museum and Research Center (5805 N. Lamar Blvd.) to kill some time.
Here, you can see one of the vintage DPS equipment displays in the museum's main exhibit room. This case features wiretap equipment that dates to the 1940s.
. . . . .
The Texas DPS Museum website features a virtual tour that allows visitors to click and pan for a 360-degree view of the main exhibit room.
This is one of the guys we're shooting with Saturday 9/10 for my Wiretap Scars Funny Or Die sketch. He was in Ed Wood too and a bunch of other movies. Love this guy, hope he's cool.
