What’s your favorite Wintry read? Here are a few of mine - Out Stealing Horses, Spinning Silver, and To the Bright Edge of the World. ❄️📖❄️ . You’ll definitely want to curl up with a blanket and warm drink with these chilly books. ☕️ Also, y’all know I love the Winternight trilogy and Snow Child, and couldn’t post this without mentioning them! 💕 fbrd.co/2h9l4FD

Landscape 1In this image I used an exposure of +0.7 to get more light in the photo because I was shooting at night. The lighting I used was the back porch light. I took the image in black and white to give the photo more of a cold feeling. The mood I tried capturing was a cold winter night. I used the chained link fence in my yard to frame the bench in the bottom center of the photo. I used photo shop to take out snow in the corner of the image that was not flat to balance out the image more.
