My little friend here needs to eat and so the snow was not going to deter him from having his breakfast here at the feeder on this winter storm day.
I want to thank each and everyone for your comments and visits to my little space here on Flickr. Although I may not get to respond to all the comments, rest assured, I appreciate them all more than you know however, awards and invites aren't necessary.

The Nlak’pamux Church, also known as St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church. c. Early 1900's
Believed to be built sometime between 1905 - 1907
A photographer's favorite.
A small wood framed, Gothic Revival building, it is quite straightforward in design, with a small narthex at the front of the rectangular nave, a small bell tower over the entrance and a small altar extending out the rear. The bell tower is of interesting design, rising out of the gable of the narthex, with a shingled steeple like a little brown helmet, surmounted by a wooden cross. The belfry vents, with gable tops, are open all around, exposing the 26 inch bell which still hangs within. The building is clad entirely in shingles, many of which are now coming adrift, indicating its recent years of inactivity. All openings are rectangular, lacking Gothic arches, doubtless concessions to economics and the need to complete the church in a timely fashion.

Feeding the birds is a small thing we can do to help them survive the harsh weather. It also brings them a bit closer to the camera.
Happy Caturday 25.1.2020 "Winter weather"
We haven't had a snowflake this winter yet, so I chose this picture - at least it is white :-)
The cold doesn't bother Timmy, he sleeps even at -2 °C (28,4°F) for hours on his bench on the terrace. At this sight my mother is always very cold :-)))
After last night, our poor cattle are awash in a winter wonderland. I feel for them during extreme weather conditions, they are tough animals who put up with a lot at times...
Fynn watching birds on a sunny but very cold winter day ! The birds provide some entertainment and the sweater helps him to stay warm. Fynn only wears his sweater when the winter days are icy and he still wants to spend time in the garden. For those who don't know it yet, Fynn has a chronic cat flu and winter weather is tricky for him. It's much better now than it was years ago when I adopted him but we still have to be careful, especially as he loves to be outside no matter how low the temperatures are. The sweater helps and it doesn't bother Fynn at all.
This is my post for the theme 'winter weather' of the 'Happy Caturday!' group. I add another capture of Fynnie and his sweater in the comments.

Kind of snowy breakfast for the calves this morning. Our winter storm arrived as advertised bringing ample amounts of snow and wind. The wind continues this morning, and now comes the cold...
