I love this particular grouping of trees along the river, which seem particularly expressive when bare with Winter.

The sun actually tried to show through this morning. Thankfully I had my camera in the car and managed to catch the sun trying to shine through this tree.

( called bise in switzerland )
with just a few centimeters of snow

all pics from the gurten hill - its the home mountain of the berne people - with a fantastic panorama view towards the alps - in the south and the jura hills in the east ! Today it was lightly hazy but nevertheless wonderful ...
A forest which is part of the Hullett March, a 3000 acre conservation area in Huron County, Ontario. I think I was skiing the day I took this.
