We'd parked and I was sitting waiting, briefly! I scribbled in as much as I could, with a starter for darks and colours..then finished it off back at the house. Everywhere around here there are trees..even between car parks, where I seemed to draw a lot!!!!

Cloud, tree, sun, captured with my iPhone 6s on a walk this afternoon and slightly manipulated in Photoshop.
Used various distress inks and spritzed with water before stamping. Started with a lighter shade and then added a darker shade at the top of the stamp to try to achieve a graduated or ombre effect.

In the near distance are the animal & bird cages. Further away is the green dome of the Pittville Pump Room.

Cross-country skiing in the mountains.
Passing this stretch of woods that runs along the Hudson River, you can see the aftermath of hurricane Irene from 2011 and most likely additional trauma from hurricane Sandy in 2013. The chaotic intersections of the fallen trees create a strong visual dynamic, outlined here by the incessant snows of 2014-15.

I spent a fair bit of time over the holiday wandering on Guelph's trails and took LOTS of photos. The weather was perfect for it. Some of them, including the original version of this photo, are posted here. I strayed away from iPhoneography and used a digital camera for a change... and enjoyed it!
This shot I took in Preservation Park then postprocessed on my desktop. It's blended it with a couple of textures from deviantART - bokeh4 by fmr0 and Bokeh 5 by asphyxiate-Stock
